LOL! Wow Barbara, your claws are showing. Jealousy doesn't work well. When I was in my early teens(early '60's), my dad got stationed in London (CINCLANTFLT Supply officer) we were well instructed that we were (as milbrats) mini-ambassadors and that we would dress appropriately to represent the U.S. with dignity. And we did. Of course, we still managed to do some uh, things that may have caused some embarrassment to somebody. Good time was had. These fashion mavens, not so much. Oh, and, I don't think it's swell they're getting to do stuff that most "folks like us" don't get to do. Did 'chips' invite some lower class "folks" to go along with them? Uh, prolly not.

It's not in my DNA to say very many nice things about Michelle and the girls. But I looked at those pictures, and wasn't terribly appalled.
Keep in mind that this criticism comes from the country that gave us Twiggy and whose female royalty wear some really funny stuff on their heads.

Media say the first lady is representing our country as she continues her march across continents, giving speeches and glad-handing with royalty and politicians.
Does this allow then to dump the entire trip into the lap of the taxpayers as a 'political' act?? IOW another freebie for the "Movin' on Uppers".

I’m just glad it that Moochie is not the one wearing a miniskirt.

The girls should reflect more decorum in their dress......
....they don’t look respectful of their surroundings while representing USA......and on our dime too!
Michelle looks better than usual......

Not horrible for a family outing. For what is essentially a State visit?

One of those girls is wearing jeans that are ripped at the knees. That is not appropriate for the daughters of the President to wear out in public. It looks trashy.

The only dress that I personally thought looked very nice on Moochelle was the yellow/blue one. The girls look age appropriate and their outfits are what a lot of teen girls are wearing. IMHO, they aren’t “fashion bugs” but a lot of people aren’t.

Not horrible for a family outing. For what is essentially a State visit? In the summer? Like I said, I'm okay with it. Those shorts and tops on the girls aren't overly revealing and they show some style. The dresses are cute and stylish.

Is this the Barbra Simpson who hosted a talk radio show for about 17 years? I wondered what she was up to. The topic is a bit light and mundane for her,but at least I see Barbra is still writing.
To: rktman
I read on Daily Mail where
one of the dresses Moochelle wore on this tour cost $1200.00.
Imagine if Laura Bush had done the same...

Some of those outfits are not appropriate for the First Family on a foreign tour.

” It looks trashy.” Well............. We think moochie has a huge block of wood on her shoulders? Wait until the young’uns get out there. “Folks” like them just don’t stand a chance in racist hateful ‘Merica. Havahd, here I come. Maybe Yale or Bryn Mawr? Yeah, no chance. Maybe they’ll land jobs at some msm HQ making a gazillion $$$/yr for doing nothing like another “first daughter” we know of.

Yes, one and the same “Babe In The Bunker”. I believe she’s still in the bay area. Why? I have no idea.

Actually, I think these dresses/outfits look much better than they have in the past 5 years.
The girls look quite age appropriate too.
