They learned their lesson with the GoFundMe campaign for the Indiana pizza shop owners. Any online activity that demonstrates resurgent Conservatism will be immediately shut-down by Obama’s Silicon Valley toadies.
I'm wondering if the puppetmasters didn't go a little too far here. A surprising percentage of people realize that erasing the past does not make for a better present or future.
I recommend: http://carrot-top.com/
I have been doing business with them for about 30 years.
They sell top quality flags, including some historical American flags that I have not seen anywhere else.
They are not the cheapest flags available, but they are among the best.
Flags are still being sold on eBay.
I sense that the websites that deal with flags are going to make a WHOLE LOT of MONEY.
I am posting this at 10:54 AM Eastern time today. Hmmmm.
Never mind, the OP put the wrong date at the top of his post. The article was written on 6/23.
“A surprising percentage of people realize that erasing the past does not make for a better present or future.”
“Those who control the present, control the past and those who control the past control the future.” George Orwell
The liberal media has declared themselves guardians of the past.
I went there and the confederate flag in the configuration that is being banned everywhere is no longer on their website.
As soon as I saw/read S.C. would take down their confederate flag, I immediately went to Amazon and put four flags on my wish list - Texas, Don't Tread On Me, Come And Take IT, and the Confederate Flag.
The instant I saw/heard Walmart had removed all confederate stuff from their store and website, I immediately went to Amazon and bought those four flags, they should get to me by 8 pm tomorrow (I have Prime on Amazon so they deliver to me in two days).
Just before I wrote this post, I went to Amazon to look at my order. I clicked on the individual flags I bought, and now I get a blank page for all except the Texas Flag. The message I get on the blank pages is, “Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.”
So, they have cancelled selling the “Don't Tread On Me”, “Come And Take It”, and the “Confederate Flag.”
Now, who canceled selling those flags? Did the companies who sell them do that or did Amazon take them off their website?
At the top of my order it says my order is “Preparing for Shipment”.
Your chart reinforces my theory that all of this madness is the result of social media aggressively herding the sheep.
Oh, bull. The PPP poll was taken in the midst of the media-manufactured hysteria. Just like all the polls about gun control after Sandy Hook showing a surge in Americans’ support for gun control. Give it six months, long after the media has moved on to the next shiny objected, and the numbers will adjust back to more normal figures.
There IS no logic.
There is ONLY the Revolution.
Eric Erickson’s take on the logic is interesting.
By banning the flag you make it more desirable to buy and fly. Not necessarily as racism but as a way to throw the middle finger to the Left.
However, massive and increased sales of the flag will then be used by the Left as evidence of the kind of widespread racism, requiring significant governmental action as a response, they claim exists.
Erickson uses the analogy of guns. Threaten to take them away and sales spike. The Left then uses that spike to say that there really is a gun nut culture that needs to be reined in.
Just go to annin.com.
Already have mine, two matter of fact... Both documented to have been flown over the SC Capital dome prior to the removal
Sweeeeeeet!
