Serious question, not a joke. Could you in good conscience encourage any young, straight white male to join the US military today?
I have sons that I’m sure will never be enlisting; they wouldn’t be showing up if a draft notice appeared either. We’re just visitors here at this point, and we pay plenty for that.

No. In fact, I actively discouraged someone who wanted to join the Marines (friend of family). They're now back in school getting a bachelor's degree in architecture (hello, George Costanza!).

Today, you couldn’t break enough bones in my body to make me re-enlist.
Then again if they tried to do this ($hit) to me 30 years ago I’d be the one breaking bones.
Times have changed but not that much
What hasn’t changed is Govt overreach and they can try to indoctrinate (they will fail) for now.
