Christians could start to make it clear that there is a difference between marriage and holy matrimony. Its that simple.

A winner.

Meanwhile, we are being diverted from dwelling upon extremely dangerous to the US domestic and international matters by letting our illustrious best representatives that money can buy divert attention away from the disastrous trade deals, Iran negotiations and the Obamacare ruling.

Christians could start to make it clear that there is a difference between marriage and holy matrimony. Its that simple.

While certainly this was true during the earlier cultural battle for marriage, that battle was lost in a slaughter. Now, the battle will be over the mere right to exist holding onto "archaic" ideas of a Creator and even the concepts of "holy" or "matrimony". The new forms of bias and discrimination will come like a tidal wave upon Christians to make the current bias' that have existed for years look like child's play ...

It was infinitely more difficult being an unapologetic Catholic at [a major American university] than it was for students who are flamboyant homosexuals. [The latter] never once had to defend themselves against accusations of bigotry or backwardness; they never had to justify why they believe what they believe and why they do what they do. They never once had their fears about what the future holds for their people summarily dismissed or downplayed. No CEO will be fired for being gay in America, but we saw what happened with Mozilla.

It’s not that simple for non-profit faith based groups who will be forced to admit or hire homosexuals. Consider the effect on Christian schools, Christian camps, or even volunteer ministries.

For example, I volunteer in a prison ministry which enables me to go to prisons to teach the Bible. It’s on a shoestring budget, and most of our staff are volunteers. Will we now be required to allow homosexuals to teach our religious curriculum or fear losing tax exempt status? Remember, that tax exemption applies to not only the organizational budget, but to our donors’ gifts.

The same goes for Christian schools, who will now be forced to hire homosexual teachers/ staff or lose their tax exempt status. This goes far beyond the marriage question, because this ruling has created a new protected class.
