What is a bit of a surprise is the time of day, Saturday afternoon and in what is a somewhat safer area in Washington, D.C.
I know that area has gentrified substantially in recent years, but it still borders some very rough parts of town. I wouldn't walk in that neighborhood on weekends or at night without violating DC’s gun laws.
