Bush should release his wife’s U.S. Naturalization and Citizenship papers.

How could she pass the U.S. Civics and English exams if she can barely speak English?

And did she ever renounce her Mexican Citizenship and give up her Mexico Passport?

If she didn’t have a Mexican passport, how did Jeb get her into the U.S.?

Is there any evidence she can barely speak English? They've been married over 40 years. I would think she would have learned a good bit of English by now.

BTW, I was impressed that she was not from the Mexican elite, he married a "lower-class" Mexican.

According to Wiki, she became a US citizen in 1979.

From what I’ve been able to find, she still doesn’t speak English very well.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that. My Spanish is atrocious.

Sounds like he married someone who was “beneath him” in status. But has stuck by her anyway. Good for him.

We’re electing a President, not a First Lady. Sounds like this one will stay out of the public spotlight, so that’s a plus.

Interesting questions you give. I can’t recall any answers or info ever being publicized. I recall info about Eleanor Roosevelt, Mami Eisenhower, Jackie Kennedy and of course Hillary Clinton. These questions seem rather touchy-feely but I believe that a POTUSA family must also be totally from/for US interests.

They were married in 1974. She was naturalized in 1979.

Bush’s wife struggled with the decision to become an American citizen. She only did so in order to vote for Bush for President.

Why would anyone want this woman as First Lady? Haven’t we had enough of those who hate our country in the White House?

Is this the woman who a few years ago was trying to smuggle goods into the USA without paying duties?
