The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
My, she is modest with only a year and a half left to put up with such squalor.....
At least she’s spending her own money- wait, what?
Not to defend the first wookie, but haven’t most first ladies (in her case, I use that term lady loosely) done the same thing?
I like Hillary’s better in pretty much every way, shape and form. It was quite beautiful. Michelle’s is so-so. I HATE her table and chairs. Who wants to lean on those nails? Everything she changed was better before.
Most of all I HATE the Old Family Dining room. Gag! What did it look like before, cuz it is major ugly now.
I like the state dining room better now but I don’t like the texture portion of the drapes.
The old family dining room is ugly, I don’t like that.
“The change, which has been years in the making, comes just months after head florist Laura Dowling quit her post and was escorted from the building by security”
Now THAT’S funny.
‘I pray heaven to bestow the best of blessings on this house and on all those that shall hereafter inhabit it. May none but honest and wise men ever rule under it’s roof’
I really BET she wanted to destroy this mantel inscription. We have had so many pigs in our People’s House that the stench will be very difficult to expunge.
There should be two rules on this:
1) a president can only complete such changes within the first 12 months of a first term.
And the average spend per room must be no more than the average American spends on interior decoration altogether over the course of a year.
Ghetto Fabulous. The woookie is trash.
Horse hair chairs to remind us of the horse’s arse that lives there.
Orkin friendly.
Certainly she had to at least replace the drapes since she used the floral ones that were there before for one of her dresses.
Hm. Ghetto chic? :P
She bought an expensive trough?
1950s? That was never the greatest era in American style. Why would we want to revisit the 1950s?
I think the State Dining room is ugly and cold, as is the family dining room. That is a truly awful rug on the floor.
The WH owns warehouses full of beautiful, authentic, historical furniture that could have been utilized. This is just more overspending by the Obamas.
There was nothing wrong with the old one, so why waste our money on changing it?
Ok, I’ll chime in...
I do like it (thanx, Mooch, for asking if it was ok to spend my moola on an already acceptable room)....
Much better than the horrid job she did in the Oval Office...bordello yellow curtains....
