of interest is that the Southern states which have proudly claimed their Confederate heritage over the many years, have also sacrificed in war more, per capita, of their young men to the United States of America, the Stars and Stripes, than any other region of the nation.
Seriously, I wonder how long before we see the Confederate sculptures on Stone Mountain, Georgia dynamited by the gov’t.

I’m sure they exist somewhere, but I have yet to hear a southerner seething with hatred for the US, per se. Often, more patriotic than any other given region.
The only time they hate the US is for the Civil War.

Ah, northern racism and hate. South Carolina is 30 percent black. Maryland is the only non-Dixie state that has a higher percentage (31), and Mississippi is the only state that is significantly higher (37 percent)
LA and GA are also right around 30 percent...Bama is at 26 percent...
NC, DE, and and VA are around 20 percent...
TN, FL, ARK, NY, IL, NJ, and MI are around 15 percent...
The other 33 states are all under 13 percent... including 20 states that are under 5 percent... including liberal Oregon (2 percent) and NH (1.2 percent).
So, racist ass-hat, what do you propose to do with the 1.4 million SC blacks when you create this "white homeland" for the 100+ million whites who do not believe as you do?

If Obama had wanted to start this latest Confederate flag distraction then he would have been trampled in the rush of Nikki Haley and other Republicans, North and South, condemning the flag and calling for it to be taken down. I don't see hanging this one on him.

I take slight umbrage to your MD comment. Dixie was defined by the Mason-Dixon, and that is the northern border of our state. So, considering MD the northern-most southern state, it fits in (and thus no genuine yankee state has many blacks).
