VIENNA (AP) -- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is signaling diplomats won't conclude an Iran nuclear agreement by early Friday morning, complicating American efforts to quickly implement any deal.
Under U.S. law, the seven nations negotiating in Vienna have to complete the accord before the end of Thursday in Washington to avoid invoking a 60-day congressional review period during which the Obama administration cannot waive sanctions on Iran.
If they meet the target, the review would only be 30 days.
The extended time period is significant as Iran is demanding prompt easing of economic penalties for nuclear concessions. And the longer world powers cannot make good on their promises, the longer they'll have to wait for the Iranians.
Kerry said: "We will not rush and we will not be rushed."

History begins when a liberal wakes up every morning.
Uh, what’s congress got to do with it? We know the lyin’ king “Don’t need no steenkin’ congress.” He just do as he please and nobody dare call him on it. Why? Racis’! And he’s half a white guy.
It's unconstitutional as hell.
Maybe it’s time to review Kabuki Theater.
Think the Iranians would shutup if we just gave them some nukes?
It’s time to mass a couple of carrier groups in the area of Iran and move troops near their land borders.
The only thing they will respond to is force.
Note to the GOP....Keep the Sanctions in place
I hope everyone understands that stretching out the talks, are a strategy of Iran to give more time to perfect their nuclear weapons - just like Saddam did who kept talks going for almost twelve years. Saddam got Russia and China in his corner just as Iran is doing now. Everything is going Iran’s way and this administration is too dumb to recognize it. These people only respect strength and Obama is reducing our strength, both militarily and domestically.
No. They'd then want some additional amount of money, or they'd want extra Uranium to fuel them, or they'd want delivery technology. The sky is the limit to what they'd want, once the regime shows it will cave to any whim to get a "deal".

Hmmm....... now that is profound
I may have to agree with it
Nothing they said yesterday applies if it’s a problem. The GOP plays the same game now.
How many times do we all laugh at the Baghdad Bob spokesholes for Barry. Even when you show them video of their own statements they deny it.
Then everybody pretends that it’s to nuanced to understand and the next day, rinse and repeat.
Giving away the farm takes time.
Of course they’ll rush it through.
What we need is a small Davey Crockett sized, 20 ton nuc “Handling Accident” at their “research site” to show world they are weaponizing and also blow hell out of everything there.
See, they shouldn’t of called it a deadline. Obummer should have gone with something more colorful, like a “red line” or something like that. He’s never said something like that before, right?

A negotiation with Muslims is, invariably, a ‘move the goalposts’ situation. No doubt that the Iranians introduce new conditions every time they get close to a deal.
The Iranians didn’t deliver his Grey Poupon with the deadline Kerry set.
