I’m not accusing you. I’m accusing the half of our country who think it’s okay to kill children. The kind of people running the media who would never allow a heart breaking message of love for the unborn.

OK the restaurant thing is stupid. But hey, it is for the owner AND the dog to enjoy together. This is just harmless feel good stuff. Sure the dog doesn’t need it. But for all of us who love dogs and feel we have them for way too short of a time, it is a pleasure to see someone show a dying dog a good time, even if it is as much about us as it is them. Dogs give us a great deal of joy and selfless love.

It is not either/or as far as babies versus dogs. Of course human babies are more important. It is just that it is irrelevant to the story and seems to imply that any love and affection for a dog is taking away love and affection from a baby. It is just not that simple or that either/or. You can have 19 children and counting (is that what it is?) and still have room in your heart for some pets.

*We’re* not *that* half and *that* half is not even here to read these comments.

So it was a pointlessly confrontational comment.

Why preach to the choir when the sinners you want to condemn are not even here?

There’s a time and place for that comment but this was neither.

Amen to everything you said.

And the Subaru commercial’s last scene makes me cry every time. Just outright sobbing.

Shouldn’t he have been saving unborn babies instead?

I know.
What are they *thinking*?

I don’t want a car that makes me cry.

Perhaps if the lady had not adopted the dog and it was killed, a couple babies would have lived.

/crazy magical thinking

Instead of wasting time posting on FR, he should be somewhere, all the time, saving them.

Don’t go wobbly on us! There’s always time to criticize and alienate people who would otherwise be on your side!

And dogs love babies.

It’s like God planned it that way, or something.

Beautiful girl, on the outside too.
My pup got an extra ration of turkey tonight.
Turkey is on his ‘bucket list’.

Yeah, I can understand that.

If anyone was ever to say to me that I love animals more than people, I would have to say that in many or even most cases, that is true.

It’s just a result of my experiences with people versus experiences with animals.

That’s not to say that I don’t love certain people very much, but I am a complete sucker for animals, most especially dogs.

And some animals out there have been through tremendous suffering, and some have suffered by the hand of humans, and that really makes me sad.

I am not familiar with Halla though. I have not heard her name or her story before. I am interested to know who she is.
