Democrats now will say anything to distance themselves from sanctuary city policies, even though they have supported these policies for years. In an exclusive CNN interview Tuesday, Hillary Rodham Clinton was asked about San Francisco's refusal to hand over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement seven-time convicted felon and five-time deportee Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez. He stands accused in the fatal shooting of Kathryn Steinle as she took an evening stroll on Pier 14 last week. (After telling a local TV station he shot Steinle by accident, Lopez-Sanchez has pleaded not guilty to murder.) Clinton answered, "The city made a mistake not to deport someone that the federal government strongly felt should be deported. So I have absolutely no support for a city that ignores the strong evidence that should be acted on."
In a 2007 Democratic presidential debate, the late Tim Russert asked Clinton if she would allow sanctuary cities to disobey federal law. "Well, I don't think there is any choice," she answered. Immigrants may not talk to police if "they think you're also going to be enforcing the immigration laws." She did not add a caveat that she wanted local law enforcement to work with immigration officials if the federal government had strong feelings that an individual should be deported.
In 2008, Clinton voted against an amendment to yank some federal funds from sanctuary cities. California Democratic Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer voted likewise -- but it didn't stop them from criticizing San Francisco for releasing a repeat offender.

Santuary Cities are a Rat program of Death to Americans.
No kidding, thousands of others have died at the hands of illegals and it continues today.
For instance, as we know, San Francisco has a large Asian population, many of them illegals. The illegals feel safe, because they know that federal immigration officials will not come for them in the middle of the night to deport them.
Sadly, many of the Asians in the country are illegals, so Sanctuary cities like San Francisco---and even New York--- that have large Asian populations are excellent places for illegal Asian immigrants to easily hide in.
My point is this: I believe that Asian-American leaders will fight to keep Sanctuary cities, because they want to protect all the Asian illegals hiding in Sanctuary cities like San Francisco and New York.
Does she mean the Mafia?
They aren't a community. They are a lawless rabble given a veneer of legitimacy by media and far too many ignorant citizens and non-citizens.
Sanctuary cities give aid and comfort to the enemy. The Demonicrat and RINO city councils and mayors who allow their cities to be sanctuaries have committed treason against the United States of America. They need to be indicted, tried, convicted, sentenced, and hanged as traitors.
Lots of illegal asians in Chicago and Detroit as well. Living along the I-94 corridor I’ve seen several of them caught over the years. Usually driving straight trucks hauling food in filthy conditions.
Steinle would have been ignored like all the others—many far more vicious and heinous—except that Trump jumped on it.
And he shows no sign of backing down.

It may not leave the front pages - it is the PERFECT ISSUE for Trump to ride to the White House.
That was one of the concepts behind sanctuary cities, if they know they won’t be deported, maybe they will be more likely to call police in case of trouble or to report illegal activity.
The problem with that rationalization is that in their home countries, the police are corrupt as hell and will just as soon take them out in the desert and shoot them as to do their job. So they have an ingrained mistrust of police and still won’t call them.
This is what Democrats do every time their policies are shown to be dismal failures...run from it like rats from a sinking ship and blame someone else...Like Bush...and yes, they started by blaming Republicans...

There are beautiful Americans murdered by illegals every week and it will not go away until the border is closed. Never let a crisis go to waste and especially one that is made by the Dems.

If illegals don’t talk to the police about crime in their neighborhoods, then they reap what they sew.
What is the problem?
With the myriad of federal grant programs to “study” any manner of bogus subjects, where is the “study” to test this shaky hypothesis?
There’s not one. Not even any anecdotal evidence that it works. No attempt to gather data.
The reason: the American people are incapable of self government and are satisfied with their overlords feeding them a line if BS, then moving on. It’s over, folks, and has been for at least 20 years.
This issue will fade when we have the next celebrity murder or Republican sex scandal for the media to swoop down on.
Of all the many lies that democrats tell, this one may be second only to "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor."
Here's a (very imaginary) conversation between two illegals, a husband and wife, living in a sanctuary city:
Maria: Juan, I just saw one of those cartel drug dealers murder someone.
Juan: Okay, Maria. Since this is a sanctuary city, let's go straight to the police and tell them about it.
How did we get here? My guess:
Democrat strategists wanted to devise a plan to further their electoral chances. Step 1 was to open up the border and allow as many illegals into the country as possible. Step 2 was to give them welfare and other handouts, making sure that they understand that this largesse comes from the democrat party. Step 3 was to claim that Photo Voter IDs are racist, protesting and fighting in court any legislation designed to require them. Step 4 was to wheedle, coerce and/or bribe tens of millions of illegals to go to the polls and cast their votes for democrats.
When the democrat operatives considered the possibility that many of these illegals could be rounded up and sent home, thus putting a crimp in their master plan, they needed to devise a way to keep the illegals in the United States. Thus, the idea of Sanctuary Cities was born. But, the dems can't tell the populace the real reason they want to keep illegals here. So, they needed to come up with a rationale, however flimsy. And that's how the idea of "The Sanctuary Cities are safer because illegals won't be afraid to talk to the police" was born. In my humble opinion.

Maybe not for a Democrat or a JEB BUSH SUPPORTER who supports these policies, but no, I’m not going to do you guys a favor by IGNORING her death.
