If you mean by “not ride his train” as vote for him, I’ve said here a lot that I wouldn’t vote for him. By the same token, I won’t trash him or his supporters.
All of this will burn out when the media and Democrats realize he’s touched a hot button with a lot of people in this country who have so far been largely silent, and they will shut up. At that point, Trump loses his edge.
Can we like what Trump is saying on immigration without planning to vote for him? I think so. Is it possible to appreciate the way he’s exposed the Democrats and many Republicans as treacherous amnesty shills? He seems to be doing an excellent job of that.
The GOPe is laid bare. They are no better than the Democrats on immigration. For whatever reasons, both parties want open borders at the expense of Americans. Many of us are sick of it!
Trump is making headlines and changing the national dialogue....it’s just the left’s misfortune that the illegal alien hiding in a sanctuary city killed a beautiful young woman. We now have martyrs to immigration failure....now to steer us into immigration enforcement, not immigration reform. A border fence, not more illegals. Trump is trying to do that. I will join that bandwagon.
