In a striking series of admissions, Pope Francis told journalists on the flight back to Rome from Paraguay that he has an aversion to the economy, which he does not understand very well, and that he has neglected the middle class.

On the plane, journalists asked the Pope his opinion of the economic situation in Greece and its relation to the rest of the European Union.

Francis responded that he has “a great aversion” to the economy because his father was an accountant and used to bring his work home with him on the weekends.

“I don’t understand it very well,” he said.

He will find like-minded people when he gets to D.C. in September.

September is going to be quite a month.

Time for the church to pay taxes. Then he’ll understand.

Good question! Giving voluntarily to the poor is totally different from the government confiscating people’s property by force of law. it’s the difference between “having a healthy sex life” and being raped.

If he equates accounting with economics he is surely ignorant of economics.

Note to all you workaholics. Your kids may grow up to be Communists. Unfortunately, it rarely works the other way. Parents who are lazy, shiftless layabouts who live off government handouts usually don't produce workaholic offspring.

Good? What's the evidence of that? His embrace of the most murderous ideology the world has ever known...marxism?

That’s obvious when you know that he’s a Socialist!

He also doesn’t know anything about actual Climate Change.

And he’d very, very weak in his knowledge of the Bible.

Maybe he should step down and get a job at the Vatican Dairy Queen.

He became a Socialist because his daddy didn’t pay enough attention to him.

For that billions have to suffer!

Why in the world ‘journalists on the plane’ wanted to ask pope questions about world politics?

Do I ask any MLB player how to program our nation’s cyber security?
