And there are an endless number of things Trump could have justly criticized McCain for doing and sayin while he’s been in office. Instead he had to disparage him for being a POW.
That is what DT was doing. He calling out McCain. He did not bring up his POW status. But, someone on the panel shouted that McCain was a war hero, i believe Frank Luntz. This tactic is used to shut someone up. And that’s exactly what Luntz was trying to do to DT. Also, DT never disparaged him for being a POW.

Today a hero is a fireman hanging around the fire house 3 days a week with time enough to have another job, taking work from someone else.

Trump has less than nothing to say about military service. He is an idiot. I do not think McCain is a military hero due to his POW status but Trump is an not the guy to make that statement. Trump is both a non-military person and a leftist. If you want to make him out as a conservative you are a Trump tool.
And now the hypocrites are offended by it.
You don’t have to like McCain. You absolutely do have to respect him for his service to the United States. He’s a war hero due to how he conducted himself from the time he was captured to the time he was released.
Trump was handed millions of dollars from Daddy. He has never served one day of hard work his entire life. He is a joke for stating what he did. That rich, old, douche should be taken behind one of his palaces and beaten by a couple of marines. I have absolutely no repect for this animal.

The one trying to make hay over it is Mr. 1% in the polls Rick Petty. He opened up his time on the Family Leadership Summit by slamming Trump for at least five minutes saying he owes “hero” McCain an apology and owes all veterans an apology for his terrible remarks about McCain the great national hero. I felt like throwing up. Perry hates Trump because Trump has told the truth about him being a failure in border security when governor of Texas. Perry has about much chance of getting the nomination as I do, and that’s none.

No he is not. Trump has been reprimanded by a large amount of people, including his own and he is trying to save face.
