Republican presidential candidate and former Texas Governor Rick Perry strongly criticized fellow candidate Donald Trump for his remarks about Senator Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) at Saturday’s Family Leadership Summit in Iowa.
Perry’s discussion began with Frank Luntz asking the audience who they would invest in the most between teachers, nurses, and veterans. Perry then expressed his desire to answer the question. He stated, “if you don’t first keep this country free. If you don’t first have the investment in the men and women who are willing their hand up and say, ‘Here am I, send me,’ You will never have the dollars to hire the teacher. You will never have the dollars to hire a nurse.”

Perry needs to take his butthurt brand of politics and get lost.
So Perry is going full retard on this to get some publicity? Rick, I probably have a better chance of being the nominee. Go buy a car dealership or a franchise and take it easy. It ain’t gonna happen.
Trump didn’t disrespect Veterans...he said that McCain has done NOTHING to help the veterans since he has been a Senator, and he hasn’t....
I want to like Perry. In some ways I do like him. But too often I cringe at what comes out of his mouth.
He doesn’t owe me one.
Perry has become as sanctimonious as Santorum used to be.
He should be using this time to tell us the reasons we need a President Perry, and not spending energy trying to pop Donald Trumps balloon.
He doesn’t owe me one. McCain craps on us every damn day. His hero status doesn’t excuse his constant betrayals and treason to the US Constitution.

Rick Perry forgets the ideals of duty, honor, country, have been crapped upon by so many politicians through the years.
The money “invested” to send those forth that volunteer, comes from the federal budget, whereas teachers and nurses do not.
Old military saying:
“Those that can’t, teach.”
“Nurses don’t fight, they patch up those that did.”
Big difference.
I’m a veteran, and I think that Perry is the one who should STFU!!!
