Walker is very methodical in his approach to a campaign....he cements a few concepts in the minds of the voters and then builds on that with a few more and then a few more.

Yes he's "rehearsed" - listen to enough candidates, and you will find they all have their "stump" speeches. He's definitely a slow and steady wins the race kind of guy. Unflappable. A man with a plan, and probably the hardest working guy you will ever see.

To me the guy is sounding like a tape recorder.

By the time we are half-way through the debates, they will all sound like that.

The reason is that we news junkies listen them over and over in various venues.

The 'average' voter doesn't pay much attention until it is primary time for their state. Thus, what the candidates say is probably 'new' to them.

There are only so many talkingpoints a candidate can memories. There are only so many topics that influence a campaign.

I was aware of that, but IMO Webb has a very famous daughter, and he isn’t given credit. Imagine that done to a woman.

As for McDougal, he is one guy I began to have an affinity for toward the end.

Unlike Susan, the old guy saw Clinton for exactly who he was. He died alone in prison when deprived of his medication (I believe). I’m sure he had done things to deserve his time in prison, but it still bothers me he is just one more destroyed person left behind in the Clinton’s wake.

That's a good hypothetical question. The left keeps telling its idiot voters that Republicans want to ban all contraceptives.

"So, Mr. Republican Candidate, do you support states' rights, or do you support freely-available over-the-counter contraceptives? Pick one."

Cruz would understand the false premises underlying the question and would knock it out of the park. I bet Perry would just sit still with a grin on his face.

“Rock star” Obama won partly because most people knew nothing about him, the corrupt media therefore able to deify him.
