Luntz was functioning as a GOP-Establishment ring master with Ted Cruz. Luntz was despicable.
His questions to Cruz was typical of a RINO trying to get Cruz to admit he has failed - including the attempt to “shut down” the govt and his opposition to Obamatollah’s CommieCare.
Cruz was quick to point out his efforts galvanized the base and led to a historical victory in the 2014 elections.
Luntz is a dope and a biased pollster.

Desperate? These are the facts of Donald Trump’s life. He has religiously used eminent domain to build his entire empire. It seems you know far more less about him than you think. Take 10 minutes and look into Donald’s past and learn more about the man. If the people would have taken that 10 minutes to research Obama, we wouldn’t have been stuck with him for 8 years.

I just hope that some of what he has said has been heard by those with earbuds in use.
The Luntz Focus Groups are worse than all show...they are misleading. A focus group lasts just a short while. A campaign lasts a long time. Conservatism takes longer to understand than it takes liberalism to emote...therefore using focus groups is one of the real reasons that Republicans have shied away from conservatism. Conservatism is not understood in the construct of a two hour focus group.
There’s no way a 2 hour focus group can measure the impact of a message over the time of a campaign....and yet, that’s exactly what Luntz and Rove would have you believe.
It is quite possible that Trump perceived a trick question here and knew the next question would be “What did you ask forgiveness for?” so he side stepped it. (Notice how he meandered all over the place before he answered.) If that is not the case, at least he did not tell everyone what they want to hear and at least he acknowledged he does wrong and takes action to correct it. Some people ask for forgiveness over and over and make no effort to change at all.
What does that sentence even mean? You support amnesty?
Trump supports amnesty. He admits he thinks illegals should stay.

Look at it this way: We’ve nominated as many candidates for President as the RINO establishment has elected them in the general in the past two cycles.
