My understanding is that he spoke at Monumental Dixie (the rally) on Saturday & was killed today. Rather yesterday (Sunday). According to someone who was at the rally, he had been threatened or harassed by NBPP protestors who had showed up at the rally on Saturday.
He is. This is a loss for the South, but I’m sure that’s nothing compared compared to the loss suffered by his loved ones.
Just damn.

There are a good number of voices on the internet whose presence on various forums I consider as sort of canaries on the wire. If they fall off, to me, that will set off some trip wires.
Mr. Hervey’s murder should sound alarms across the country.
Time for all to consider setting up check in trees so that drop offs don’t go unnoticed. The “if you don’t here from me in two weeks then...” scenario.
