Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said Wednesday that she and other city leaders are still not sure who ordered state-run buses and a subway to be shut down the day rioting broke out near Mondawmin Mall..
"There's still some confusion about where the order came from," Rawlings-Blake said. "It definitely came in real time from the ground at Mondawmin."
Some, including local teachers, have suggested that the decision to shut down public transportation near the mall April 27, the day of Freddie Gray's funeral, escalated tensions because students were stranded with no ride home from school. Rioting later erupted across the city.
The mayor said she was not consulted about shutting down public transportation.
"I was made aware in real time that it was done," she said. "We did not have a discussion, where I was, about if this should happen. I remember trying to get to the bottom of it. [The Maryland Transit Administration] is saying schools said it. The schools say the police suggested we shut it down."(continued)

Why not ask the heads of the respective transportations?
Because she might not like the answer.
Well, where does the buck stop, Stephanie? Yes, that would be her desk.
Well, buses could have gotten in the way..you know, giving them room to destroy.
Now that I think about, it might have given them transportation to take the great “Room to Destroy Tour” on the road..
If the kids we’re tuck with no transportation home, then they would be available bodies for rioting.
Lying piece of trash.
Remember the group of students throwing bricks at retreating police. If that wasn't scripted, tv cameras and all, I'll eat my shorts!
Check out her idiot ‘Real Time’ jazz. What a chippie little bitch.
With treasonous actions on the horizon.. Iran deal, Amnesty, etc.. Odungo needed PROTECTION FROM IMPEACHMENT. This riot ensured that via “black lives matter” = “Can’t touch Odungo!”
It's either the fault of a Republican, or it's... confusion. Lots of confusion, and a need to step back and take a deep breath and wait until all the facts are in, we won't be commenting while the investigative process is under way, and we should all withhold judgment until the professional fact finders find out what the facts are, which should take at most fifteen or twenty years.
Maybe twenty-five, tops.
If I controlled the public transportation budget I would have moved the city’s assets to a safe location. Why is this even the issue?
The real question is why were the looters given room to riot? Why were police told to stand down!?
These are the most confused city officials ever.
.
Just another version of he said/she said/they said endless loop. Send it enough different directions and low info’s will forget about it and others will just think “same as usual”.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
