Yet another man is charging the Boy Scouts with failing to protect him decades ago against a former St. Paul adult scout leader who allegedly abused him dozens of times when he was an adolescent and took naked photographs of him.
The scout leader, Leland “Lee” Opalinski, has been named in three other civil suits against the Boy Scouts of America since late June, when Ramsey County Commissioner Jim McDonough announced he was seeking damages from the Scouts and the local Northern Star Council for four years of sexual abuse by Opalinski.
In a civil suit filed Tuesday in Ramsey County District Court, John Doe 153 charges that Opalinski repeatedly had “sexual contact … [and] penetration” with him between 1967 and 1971, when he was 12 to 16.

This can’t be because I’ve been told that the vast majority of abusers are not homosexual but heterosexual because they were married while committing the abuse.../s
The “Scouting Boys” club is now finished. No parent would allow his little boy to go into this vile and perverted den of an organization. I actually think they should be prosecuted right now to stop the child pedophiles. Why do we tolerate this?
Of course this is a reflection on the Boy Scouts rather than homosexuality.
I hope many sue the crap out of the boy scouts, enough to hurt them so bad it will make them wise up about queer scout leaders. Come out young men and sue them idiots. Surprising how hurting the wallet can bring sense to the brain.
Homos trying to take a wrecking ball to all that is good. They will get their just reward.
If they can change rules about letting in openly gay scout leaders they can also change rules safeguarding scouts sleeping arrangements.

not one penny to them and not one penny to the pub party....we might all end up Mormons because I least they are openly against this gay leader crap...
We had this problem in our troop back in the 60s with a couple of assistant scout masters. I think on was 18, the other in his 20s. Don't know if the scoutmaster was in on it or not.
Probably molested dozens of kids in our and surrounding troops.
We knew something was wrong, them sleeping with kids or going off in the woods but we didn't know how to tell anyone.
Nobody talked about it or warned kids then.
Any parent that let's their kids go camping in the woods with homosexuals has rocks for brains.
Look for a seperate Christian-based Boy Scouts organization to be set up in the church communities.
I’m probably going to take fire for this, but in my mind there are most likely 2 reasons why the BSA has been corrupted.
1. Political correctness
2. Female leaders at the Boy Scout level. (read on, you’ll see why.)
Not saying ALL females, I’ve met some really good women who really understand boys and what they need. But liberal type females are typically emotional creatures and for the most part, helped propagate PC. I’ve seen way too many female leaders who want to be involved but won’t comply with all aspects of the program as written.
I’ve had Webelos graduate/bridge to BS without having earned their Whittlin’ Chip (pocket knife). When I asked the Den Leaders why, was told that “knives are dangerous”.
Females tend to not appreciate the rough and tumble world of boys, want to “protect” them...just look at the Guide to Safe Scouting...sure, some of that is written in blood, but some of it is also because leaders voiced “concern”.
Who’s ultimately to blame? Fathers who wouldn’t make time to get or stay involved thus opening the door for females to bring their influence into the program.

The mormons helped precipitate the change in policy by agreeing to the policy change in 2013 for the youth homosexuals...
The National President at the time of that decision is a mormon and he travelled to SLC to secure their consent before the issue was put to a “vote”.
Women are not the issue. What is the issue is that Obama and his pals desire to rip apart every institution that stands for everything that is good about America. Look what they have done to our military and NASA, I remember telling myself when I realized that the libs were really serious about our destruction that last straw would be Boy's Life magazine. How best to destroy the goodness of America than to pervert our young boys?
This move began way before 0bama...you have to go back to 1988 when women were permitted to register as LEADERS and in the ‘90s when BSA embraced political correctness...
And I didn’t say all women...moms have played a vital role in Scouting...and I did mention that I have worked with some who actually “get it”.
Liberalism has fought the BSA for years...they decided instead to infiltrate it and take it over from within.
This did not happen in 6 years, it has been ongoing for a couple of decades.
