I have watched youtube videos of all of Trump’s speeches. Last evening I sat on my porch here in Ocean City, MD, with my laptop and a cup of fine Panera hazelnut coffee, fired up a fine Arturo Fuente cigar (Do I sound like The Donald?) and watched Trump’s July 25th speech in Iowa.

In each speech so far, he has told about Ford building that big plant in Mexico, and how if HE’s president they’ll pay a 35% tariff on everything they send across the border. And I think that the “suits” at Ford Motors hear these things, and I would think it would give them pause regarding the breaking of ground for that new plant.

Strictly speaking, corporations don’t pay taxes; they get passed along to their customers. But that really isn’t much of a relief for, in this case Ford. Yes, the customer pays, but it pushes the price of their product up so that the potential customer goes elsewhere. Trump’s words surely have them ALL sitting up and taking notice. IMHO.

think positive

don’t think strike off....... think 2020 or 2024

For Cruz, being VP is a better starting point than Senator

Let's pass Trump into the Oval Office, for us to see what's in him, eh?

What happened the last time we were excited with a celebrity and voted him into the office?

Remember Arnold Schwarzenegger?

For those of you who are using this thread to accuse Ted Cruz of selling out, nice try!

You don't really know him or don't even try to know him because you are busy attacking him on behalf of your candidate. Read his book, A Time for Truth, will you?

The only true celebrity that comes to mind is Ronaldus Magnus, and I wish we could have more like him, except younger, like Trump.

TRUMP-CRUZ 2016!

Do you know how old Trump is? 69 now. If he is elected president, he would be older than President Reagan was when he started his presidency (70). By the way, President Reagan was not a pop-culture celebrity. He was a real Conservative celebrity.
