The transcript accompanying the latest undercover Planned Parenthood video has an employee of the group admit she finds it “fun” to dissect fetuses for their organs and would “enjoy” the opportunity to do it on behalf of fetal tissue purchasers.
The exchange isn’t included in the 15-minute edited video released Tuesday by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), but is instead buried deep in the 119-page transcript accompanying it (a full-footage version of the video hasn’t been released yet). In the exchange, Melissa Farrell, director of research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, admits she and her co-worker would find it enjoyable if a tissue buyer wanted them to dissect dead fetuses for parts.
“It would be exciting too if you needed it dissected, because LaShonda and I are the most Curious George of the group,” Farrell says. “I know it’s sickening on some level, but it’s fun.”
The undercover investigator from CMP, posing as somebody looking to buy fetal tissue, responds “Now, let’s think about it.” Farrell then continues: “No, it’s just that those of us who are into medicine and nursing, things that other people find gross, we enjoy. Obviously.”
While Farrell may enjoy dissecting fetal remains, she admitted there is one thing she finds gross: boogers.
“Except for snot,” she says. “That’s my- I can’t do it, I could never be a respiratory therapist, I could never, that’s why I have one child. I can’t do it, anything that comes out of the body from here down, I’m fine. I can hold the bucket if you’re throwing up but please don’t sneeze on me.”
The video was allegedly filmed last April at a Planned Parenthood facility in Texas. The discussion of dissection appears to have come up because much of the interview dealt with what procedures and expenses would be necessary for CMP’s fictional tissue purchaser to obtain a fully intact aborted fetus (as opposed to the dismembered one created by most second-trimester abortions).

Everyone keeps going on about various things these idiots say. Yet the most dammable, and actionable item is right there in black and white:
“And we are able to obtain intact fetal cadavers, then we can make it part of the budget that any dissections are this, and splitting the specimens into different shipments is this, that’s, it’s all just a matter of line items”
Does no one have a dictionary - look up the word cadaver. This idiot just admitted that this was previously a living human being - that is the only place you can get a cadaver from. If we had anything resembling a justice department this idiot would be under arrest for murder.

I’d say unbelievable but it’s not, really.
This individual needs a career change where she wears an orange jump suit. Now, that would be "fun".
Human dissection should be very clinical. Our lab had a sign over the door that got your attention every time you entered and it said "The Dead Teach the Living".

What a transcript! These folks could have hundreds, if not thousands, of demons in their souls.
That is a very, very good point.
Biotech companies are currently some of the fastest growing companies in our country. I held some stock in one (sold it), but these videos made me think about who the end buyers are of these tissues. In effect who is driving this trade? Those who are using tissue from aborted babies see to be rather secretive and information is hard to find. But there seems to be enough evidence to support the idea that many, many companies are doing it but we may never know which ones exactly. There was an article in the New York Times few days ago in which a researcher working for some such company discussed the day “the box” would arrive every week.
I am sickened by this whole thing and I think there is a deep dark side to medical research of which we now know little and may never find out.
