KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - In the story that is Beada Corum's life, she knows most of it has already been written.
"It's a history book," says Corum. "I raised eight children: four boys and four girls."
At 92-years-old, she should be slowing down. But, don't tell her that.
"I'm busy all of the time," she says.
Corum still makes her daily checklists and crosses them off as she goes. But last week, she crossed off something decades in the making.
This 92-year-old citizen registered to vote for the very first time.
"We got a good country but it's going downhill so fast and we need somebody in there who can straighten it out," says Corum.
In the past, Corum says there hasn't been a candidate she was passionate about. That all changed when she heard one man speak. Corum says she plans to vote for Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential Election.
"He's got a strong mind and he speaks it out just the way he thinks it ought to be," she says.
Corum is proving you're never too old to make it count.
"I pray that I'll vote for the right person. And, when you pray with all your heart, it won't go void. That's my prayer," she says.

People want an alternative.
Get that man an absentee ballot.
There’s a person I recently met, I think he’s approaching 60, said he’d register to vote for the first time ever if he could vote for Trump.
“The Republicans couldn’t even defund Planned Parenthood after they were caught red-handed selling baby parts.

People want an alternative.”
True, but electing a pro-abortion president isn’t the alternative that I will be supporting. Ted Cruz is pro-life. Scott Walker is pro-life. Marco Rubio is pro-life. Bobby Jindal is pro-life. Even Jeb Bush is pro-life. What are Donald Trump’s real views on abortion? He certainly hasn’t been pro-life for most of his adult life, although perhaps he has declared himself as opposing abortion recently just as he switched from pro-same-sex marriage to pro-traditional marriage during the past year or so.
I swore I’d never vote again after the 2012 debacle , but if Trump gets the nod I will .
Uh oh. The establishment candidates aren’t doing too good compared to Trump.
Thank God for Trump!
Voters should be required to be registered by completing a simple CIVICS test before they can pull the lever.
No offense to Trump, but this woman has failed to do her civic duty by voting when she could. Why should anyone trust her to make a sound choice now???
I guess I’m the opposite story. I’ve always voted, but if I can’t vote for Trump or Carson, I may not vote. I’m tired of being jerked around.
” switched from pro-same-sex marriage to pro-traditional marriage during the past year or so.”
I heard him on Howard Stern’s show a couple of years ago saying he was pro life and anti- gay marriage .
That’s quite an endorsement.
People also want honesty.
Listen.
I DO NOT CARE if illegal immigrants are “offended” by what Trump said.
Because I am damn offended by them!!
Trump said what he means.
I’m amazed at the misinformation many on this forum spew toward the candidates. It isn’t just Trump either. Talk about your low information voters - the left doesn’t have a monopoly on them.
Ain’t no body’s business BUT HER OWN.
Bush Criticized for Ties to Bloomberg Foundation, Planned Parenthood

“A pro-life website slammed Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush on Thursday for his years as head of philanthropy for the Bloomberg Family Foundation, which grants millions of dollars to support abortion efforts worldwide.
The former Florida governor was named a founding director of former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s foundation in 2010, LifeSiteNews reports. He stepped down last year to prepare for his presidential bid.
Bush received $37,100 throughout for working at the helm of Bloomberg Philanthropies. The foundation has $5.4 billion in assets and grants more than $200 million a year to projects around the world, Life SiteNews reports.
In March 2014, the philanthropy announced a $50 million effort to expand “reproductive health” worldwide, according to the report, including lobbying foreign nations to ease restrictions on abortion.
The project involved Planned Parenthood-Global, which trains abortion activists in pro-life countries. Latest News Update”

“Washington (CNN)Donald Trump said he believes Republicans should shut down the government rather than fund Planned Parenthood, the health services group that is facing scrutiny after undercover videos of its officials emerged.
Trump said Monday on conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt's show that the videos, which feature Planned Parenthood officials apparently discussing the sale of fetal tissue and organs for medical research, are “disgraceful.”
At the time of the interview, Trump said he was unclear where the Senate stood on an upcoming vote Monday to strip Planned Parenthood of federal funding.”
You know people do have epiphanies right.
Once upon a time I was a “drug addled long haired hard drinking agnostic, moderate”.
Now I, and I’d say many others consider me one of the most conservative people on the planet.
Funny how that happens, huh?
Trump and Cruz voters are high information voters.
“...Even Jeb Bush is pro-life.”
Could you get a comment from Terri Schiavo?
