I recently heard a panel of journalists complain on a radio show that Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trumpwon't stop hijacking the news cycle and is effectively preventing them from covering other stories. There were no such complaints during Barack Obama's first presidential campaign, even when it consisted mainly of platitudes about "hope and change."
Trump is trying to win the reality game show of "Apprentice: U.S. President." History suggests that the strategy for winning consists of getting as much attention for yourself and your ideas as you can. So what's the problem? Don't like that he's good at it?

Is there a bigger insult to American voters than the oft-floated suggestion that Mr. Trump is just a distraction and that the election will be decided by Wall Street's huge donations to the super PACs of favored "institutional" candidates in exchange for favors to be determined post-victory? The implication is that you, the American voter, will ultimately be bamboozled into voting against your own interests, regardless of the choices placed in front of you.
The fact that this election cycle includes another Clinton and another Bush doesn't do much to dispel the notion that the entire U.S. electoral system has been reduced to little more than a thinly veiled oligarchy. The naked cash-for-power optics do nothing to discourage this perception, either. Mr. Trump's campaign represents an opportunity for Americans to take a first step in attempting to purge some of the unsavory elements from their democracy.
The arrogance displayed toward the significant number of people who happen to support Mr. Trump -- manifested through attempts to marginalize and diminish Mr. Trump despite his front-runner status -- now borders on shameful.

“The fact that this election cycle includes another Clinton and another Bush doesn’t do much to dispel the notion that the entire U.S. electoral system has been reduced to little more than a thinly veiled oligarchy. “...........
Those two are the medias pick, not the peoples choice. Neither one of them should even be considered, since the demodummies NEED Bush to run so the Hitlary can win. He’s the only one she can beat. The media still runs the show!
Yes. The suggestion that Trump is some sort of conservative.
I expect him somehow to elevate Dr Ben’s message which will also help inform the electorate
This might be like one of those football games that was supposed to be a real exciting contest and it ends up being a TOTAL BLOWOUT.. in this case, in favor of TRUMP.
Huffpo will have to provide coverage of President Trump in their Entertainment section.

Senator Cruz as VP.
Cruz as Senate Majority Leader.
The EPA is not a Cabinet department, but the administrator is normally given cabinet rank.
EPA (annual budget $8.2 billion in 2014)
FLIMINATE IT AND DISMANTLE IT!
That sounds good, ASA Vet, but I’d rather have him as the VP where he would be President of the Senate and in line to run for Prez.

I don’t believe he is conservative either.
It reminds me of a scene in the movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’
There are slumdog conservatives who have been sitting on a sweltering heap of bad candidate options for so long. One day some guy shows up merely bearing a refreshing cold beverage and, given the circumstances, it looks awesome.
Of course, the media has a vested interest in promoting him.
“The media still runs the show!”
Not so far as Trump is concerned!
“Cruz as Senate Majority Leader.”
Better still, with a follow on gig with the SCOTUS.
