Complete Headline: Donald Trump fires angry tweets at Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly, analyst Frank Luntz at 3 a.m.
Someone needs a Twitter time out.
Donald Trump was still on the offensive in every sense of the word, hours after the GOP debate ended.
First he elbowed his way through the crowded field of Republican presidential hopefuls on stage in Cleveland. Then he lambasted Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly and analyst Frank Luntz, saving his most pointed attacks of the night for the media personalities.
[Snip]
Kellys pointed remarks about The Donalds portrayal of women turned any pretense of a presidential debate into reality TV and Trump responded in kind.
It didnt stop on stage.
Empowered by several post-debate polls which showed he won by a wide margin, Trump shared comments from several fans on his Twitter account, including one that called Kelly a bimbo.
.@FrankLuntz is a low class slob who came to my office looking for consulting work and I had zero interest. Now he picks anti-Trump panels! Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 7, 2015
Luntz, who led a Fox focus group breakdown of the debate that wasnt keen on Trump, was also skewered by the real estate mogul.

The fact that Trump stoops to name calling is certainly telling. What bothers me is that if anyone says something about “The Donald” he will attack them. We don’t need that as a President.
Everyone on FR knew that Fox would be biased. That is nothing new. I don’t think they were going after the biggest threat necessarily...that might have been a part of it, but I think they had a bigger threat. The person they ignored for a large part of the debate scares them more than Trump.
The only damage Donald is doing to Jeb is that he is taking Liberal Republican votes away. Trump will continue to be vetted...but his responses to the Fox people, etc, will turn off people.
Stay classy, Trump.
Maybe, the people who support Donald will agree that calling people names, etc, isn’t very Presidential. Trump is acting like a spoiled child.
Correct. It’s now been about three months of “Trump’s gonna implode.” Counting . . . . counting . . . at some point people have to give up that notion. He’s clearly in the race til the end, whether as the GOP candidate or an indie.
If BOR says anything even remotely like that then I am finished with BOR.
Megyn Kelly seemed ok before, but looks like she’s been compromised by the Elitists.
I agree. I think many who tuned in to see Trump did not expect to see Mr. Smiley Face, but wanted that guy they saw as the Boss on the Apprentice. So “his” viewers were necessarily predisposed to not being turned off by those exchanges.
Megun Kelly did Trump a huge favor by getting those questions out of the way.
Better to ask these now than I a one-on-one with the liberal candidate a few days before the election.
If he would have asked that ? at the beginning of the debate , I might have believed those plants.
With all due respect... are you nuts?
Let's see, we have a two-term president who openly favors killing babies and harvesting their body parts, who has fomented a race war, encouraged and funded illegal immigration, gay marrige and transsexualism in the military and has armed and funded our mortal enemies, and you think that prices going up in the Dollar Store after a Trump trade deal with China will make people throw him out of office?
And you vote?
smh
Ever heard of the concept of "jury selection"?
Did you notice that Luntz continued and continued questioning the ones who were anti-Trump why they didn't like him after the debate, but did not question the Trump loyalists why they are still loyal?
I think the American public wants to hear the candidates debate with one another, not the moderators. We don't want to elect any of the moderators.
Just to be clear, I’m talking about the Luntz focus group, not the moderators. Luntz asked how many liked Trump before the debate, and about 2/3 of the hands went up. Then he asked about now, and maybe a fifth did. The main reason they gave was he wouldn’t promise to support the nominee. I’m not going to tell myself they were lying or a setup just because I don’t like what they are saying. Trump should have been ready to articulate why he might not support the nominee.
I do think the whole format of the debate sucked. A 10 person debate is not the place for different gotcha questions for each candidate. Save that for one on one interviews. They should have asked broad policy questions, and had each candidate answer the same question. Trump has the most specific plan to deal with ISIS of any of them and he was never asked about it.
The left has been trying to make the word "illegal" illegal! Like the anti-blasphemy laws the islamists are trying to get the U.N. to inflict on the world.
Just to be clear with you, I was very clearly referring to the Luntz panel, and you are clearly defending your indefensible position that the panel were somehow virgin innocents with pure motivations, and that they were not carefully manipulated to do what they did. You are not understanding that weak people are easily swayed by appearances, and that Luntz’s goal was to exploit weakness against Trump by flattering his carefully selected “undecided” participants into giving the impression that their reactionary responses to his manipulations are an accurate reflection of a greater truth. You need to look below the surface, which, like a pond, only reflects your image. But underneath, there are big fish attempting to eat smaller fish.
What is “telling” about it. I name call every night at the TV. I WISH I was in a position like Trump to say what I think and not give a whit what anyone thinks.
We don’t need a President that name calls? They all do, except for probably W, maybe that sanctimonious SOB Carter. The difference here is a man will call you a name to your face - cowards don’t.
A man wouldn’t disrespect the office of the people by getting his knob polished in the Oval Office. A man wouldn’t go golfing or throw a rap party or any of that type foolishness when Americans have died by terrorists. Further adding insult to that injury being the refusal to name the evil as terrorist.
As far as your assumption about Jeb taking liberal Republican votes away, I don’t believe it myself. We’ll have to see what his numbers do in the next days/weeks. As for Fox - go look and see about the flak Kelly is getting for her little performance last night.
I don’t expect Trump as a President - never did, you can check. I want him to get these RINOs off “undocumented” and “immigration reform” and start addressing real concerns of real Americans - not what the CoC or PACs tell them to do. I like him for that and I like that it gives so many of the RINO lovers out there the heebie jeebies and such a snit fit.
I’ll vote for a Cruz (first) or a Walker (second). Any other name on that ballot, I’m staying home.
Hmmm. Interesting way to look at it. You may be right.
It’d be nice if people cared about those social issues, but nothing affects presidential popularity more than gas prices. If major hikes in other prices happen, it’ll have the same negative effect. Obama has obviously staved off some effects of inflation by charging the national credit card to fund wealth redistribution to people, who are all too happy to not work as long as the free money comes in the mail.
Ever hear of Dave Hodges? He does a show out of Phoenix on Sunday nights called The Common Sense Show. Typically, what would probably be called conspiracy stuff. I'd call it, well, mostly, common sense stuff on the goings on.
Well, he gets some off the record sources and intel occasionally. Mostly it's a good show, another Freeper turned me on to it last year.
Last week he said he was approahced by an "Italian company" who wanted to buy the rights to his show for a pretty handsome sum. Everything. He could stay on and host, in fact they wanted him to. However, the caveat was he was no longer in control of the content, what guest he had and basically everything he could say.
Naturally, he said no. Then he tried to research the company and couldn't find any information on it. He said it was the second time such an "offer" was made to him, except this time the buying price was much higher.
Id' guess people like Kelly, Hannity, etc.--they have no problem living by the terms in exchange for the money, fame and resume.
This is some amazing — and unsurprising — information. Thank you.
