Savage asked Trump if he would put tariffs on China and he basically just replied, I hope I don’t have to do that. All Trump seems to keep going back to is this vague statement that he would get “better deals” on trade than we currently have.
I can’t imagine the massive inflation that would happen if suddenly all imports from China were taxed. It would be so economically destructive that whoever’s president then would get thrown out of office.
Trump himself said his Macy’s clothing was made in China but he “didn’t like that.” Trump doesn’t really have any problems with trading with China, but it’s a nice thing to say on the campaign trail.
Oh gimme a break.
We currently run a 342 billion/year deficit just with China.

A 10% tariff on all imports would raise 400 Billion in revenues it could balance the budget, stop qualitative easing and could be offset by income tax reductions; ALL GOOD THINGS. But progressives don't like that.
Let's see, we have a two-term president who openly favors killing babies and harvesting their body parts, who has fomented a race war, encouraged and funded illegal immigration, gay marrige and transsexualism in the military and has armed and funded our mortal enemies, and you think that prices going up in the Dollar Store after a Trump trade deal with China will make people throw him out of office?
