Political skill - like lying through your teeth while looking like a choir boy? Like having a pat, poll tested answer rehearsed for every occasion? Like Hillary, the abortion lover, calling the baby butcher videos "disturbing"?
I thought Bush did pretty bad actually...he sure didn’t stand out...I was most impressed with Dr. Carson I would think it would be hard for him to become President as he is not a politician but I really want him as VP or something high up in whatever administration gets in (assuming the Dems don’t win) and I want Cruz or Walker ...although I don’t think Walker did that great either.

I have been a fan of Rush since I first heard him during the President Clinton\Monica scandal. I know he has a sharp mind. But I just found out thanks to your link that Savage also has a sharp mind. I was impressed how he linked Meghan, Zuckerburg, and Fox news together in a virtual conspiracy to take down the Republican candidates in the debate. And how he gave reasons for why that happened.

All got pointed questions—but all of Trumps Questions were pointed —the War on Women was perhaps the worst. They would have been better to ask normal policy questions and let Trump sink himself as out of his water.

This is all so schizophrenic. Trump is not a politician with a quiver full of talking points and I thought that was what people liked about him along with his honesty, outspokenness and lack of PC. If he should win as President, he would learn fast about what to say to the hostile media, interested in the status quo where they win and the people lose. As I observe all of this madness, I wonder why these journalists, including FOXNEWS, did not enter into this kind of Saul Alinsky stuff when Obama was running.

FOX was doing the Repubs a favor by giving them a taste of what they are going to face from the MSM. Best to get rid of the candidates that cannot stand up to tough questions now rather than when they are further down the road. If Trump has nt got the temperment to be President lets find out now.

He was dead on right in his analysis.
The whole Fox/Facebook combination now makes sense as Savage has exposed it. Even Rush commented on seeing the Facebook logo “f” all night long and wondering about it.
Fox really tried to take people out Thursday night.
They succeeded in taking themselves out.
Have not had them on since then.
There is no longer a reason to watch them at all.
Unfair and unbalanced—they can keep it.
I’m really tired of the whole “Poor Donald” shtick. Everyone goes on about how tough he is and the first time he is challenged he falls apart. He was horrible in the debate.....but in his defense he admitted he wasn’t preparing. All he has to do is analyze his mistakes and get on with the rest of the debates.Does he really think the other networks aren’t coming after him!!!

It is an insightful look at the whole spectacle.
For a ‘political’ debate broadcast, there were more moments of the questioners and advertising commercials, then there were available moments from the candidates. It was quite clear that this the ‘fox news crew’s’ party, than it was ‘the first presidential candidates debate’.
The ‘tone’ from the fox news crew, was to do as many character assassinations as time allowed.
