Cruz does not get erased by a Trump victory. That is non-sensical. It's like saying Bush41 got erased by Reagan '80 ( as unfortunate as that was ).
Cruz ain't going away from anything the electorate decides. He as as close to James Madison as anyone currently on the scene ( I would add Alan Keyes, Clarence Thomas, Sessions, Scalia sometimes, and a few more ).
I am suspicious of anyone trying to drive a wedge between Trump and Cruz. Neither of them are doing it so why would people in either camp do it? ( Trolls, that's who. )
That’s been my thought process.
I’ve been convinced for a few weeks that Cruz and Trump have a plan, and a deal. They’ve been really good to each other since that meeting at Trump Tower a few weeks ago. They’re like a semi-secret tag team, and it seems to be working, especially given that both of them are doing well in the polls.
There will be replays of the speech all over the Net.
Very much worth watching.

I have been missing US nationalism since Reagan. It is so exciting to see it revived. And I am just a lowly naturalized US citizen.
If he picks Cruz as Veep, it is the fastest way, and the surest, to get Cruz as CinC.
