I voted for Ted Cruz in the primary, the run-off, and the general election, when he ran for U.S. Senate. That, and he's the one and only politician I have ever given money to.
But you know what? I think it would be the best possible thing for our country if it wound up being Trump/Cruz in the general election.
I'm a Cruzer. I've sent money to his campaign five times. Trust me, I don't hate on Trumpers at all. In fact, I'm beating the drum for a Trump/Cruz ticket.
It's a very big mistake to even try to make two separate camps out of their supporters. We are all on the same team. Just like Trump and Cruz are. Let's follow their lead, please.

Anyone who tries to turn them or their supporters against each other, is an enemy of the republic, in my opinion.

My team? No. There's only one team....the American patriot team. Dividing us between our support for various politicians plays right into the hands of the elites.

Are they being paid for their attacks on Cruz and/or Trump? If so they might expect a visit from the IRS after the next election.

I doubt that, but I will say there's a lot willful failure to apply simple logic, facts, and reason, to Trump's candidacy, and what a President Trump would actually do for this nation.
But, that's what this forum is for. As we sit and discuss the multitude of questions these primaries always produce, a sort of group analysis leads toward a general consensus of well-formed conclusions.
Many Freepers benefit greatly by following the debates that occur here among us. Minds are changed when presented with unassailable facts, reasoning, and superior arguments.
You are a good man and contributor to FR.
