Hillary Clinton’s email scandal has become a grave situation for her legal team, according to Judge Andrew Napolitano.
Clinton said yesterday that had directed her aides to turn over her personal email server to the Department of Justice following a report that it contained top secret emails.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said two emails that traversed Clinton's personal system were deemed "Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information" — a rating that is among the government's highest classifications. Grassley said McCullough had reported the new details about the higher classification to Congress on Tuesday.
The State Department disputes McCullough's determination that the emails were classified at the time they were sent. McCullough had previously told Congress that potentially hundreds of classified emails are among the cache that Clinton provided to the State Department.
"Department employees circulated these emails on unclassified systems in 2009 and 2011 and ultimately some were forwarded to Secretary Clinton," said State Department spokesman John Kirby. "They were not marked as classified."
Napolitano revealed on “Varney & Co.” that the FBI has been in possession of Clinton’s server for a week, despite her announcement yesterday.
He also explained that FBI agents will be able to extract deleted emails and that they’ll be looking for evidence of crime and breaches of national security.

I’ve read this morning that a thumb drive was turned over. But I have not seen anything where the FBI confirmed it actually got the email server.

I like Judge Napolitano; he’s an honorable man. But its amazing that he still talks as if this country is a nation of laws when its obvious that the law no longer applies to the political elites. They are allowed to delay, parse, dissemble, and evade. Only the little people are held to the letter of the law.
So if the FBI has been dispatched to go after Hillary Clinton I have zero expectation that Obama is not in on it. No way it goes that far without his head nodding. So what's his end game in this? Get rid of Hillary and replace her with who? Or cut a deal with Hillary to drop the investigation in return for what?

Well, yes....I guess one could envision Bernie giving someone advice about secreting classified paper documents out of the Government Archives, but that would be difficult for Ms Clinton to do, especially because those Depenz take up too much room in the pantsuit.
If true, she's toast...
Lets assume the email server was sanitized before being turned over.
Forensics should be able to retrieve evidence of the sanitizing, plus any previously deleted emails should be able to retrieve from the ISP or this company in Colorado that had some sort of maintenance role with the server.
It all depends on how aggressive the investigation will actually be. That is an entirely separate issue …cough cough.

As far back as 7/26/13, US Sen Charles Grassley (R-Iowa)has been pressing the State Department to answer questions over Abedin’s lucrative govt job arrangement. Grassley wrote in a June 13 letter:
“It appears that Teneo Strategies may have been compensating Ms. Abedin for gathering information from government sources for the purpose of informing investment decisions of her consulting clients - or in other words, political intelligence. This raises important questions about whether Abedin’s dual role was adequately disclosed to government officials who may have provided her information without realizing that she was being paid by private investors to gather information.”

<><> In the investigation of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s activities at Orgy Island, L/E uncovered Bill Clinton and Doug Band listed w/ 21 phone nos and email addresses——L/E recognizes as the MO for tax evasion and money laundering schemes.
<><> one email exchange involved Teneo’s Doug Band pressuring Abedin to encourage her State Department boss, Hillary Clinton, to facilitate a White House appointment for one of his clients. Judith Rodin, then-president of the Rockefeller Foundation, “donated hundreds of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation,” Mr. Band allegedly noted in his email to Ms. Abedin.
