Yup. They collect everything, store it and if and when that person becomes a person of interest they access the collection and troll for USC violations.

He embarrassed them with that Bin Ladin stunt. He also embarrassed the administration. Somebody, somewhere along the line flagged his file in the system. He will receive extra attention every time he enters the US. That will go on until somebody removes the flag, and they never remove the flags. I'm not saying it is right. I'm kind of surprised nobody asked what US Customs was doing detaining and questioning a US citizen at the Montreal airport.

He sure as hell beats the tar out of the faux investigative show “60 Minutes” .... last investigations by 60 Minutes about starving black people in Africa learning to play musical instruments, starving people in Africa forming choirs, etc. .... not even significant enough for ET!

I agree. The agents were not being jerks. Some agent put a “check him” on his profile and so that is what they do. An administrative agent made it a pain for him to enter the country because of O’keefes previous actions. Not a very big surprise and not that big of a deal either.
