Will organ transplants be coming from aborted babies? They will if Ganogen Inc., a California Company, has their way. And Planned Parenthood and Stem Express will likely be partners in that chain that provides organs for transplant taken from aborted babies.
Ganogen’s vision to deal with the shortage of transplant organs is to the harvest organs from aborted fetuses and transfer them into animals to get them to grow large enough to use as a replacement organs for needy patients. Ganogen announced earlier this year that they were able to take a kidney from an aborted fetus and transplant it into a rat. That human fetal kidney was able to keep the rat alive for four months. Their research has been published in the American Journal of Transplantation.
Eugene Gu, the founder and CEO of Ganogen, told Medical Daily in an e-mail, “Our long-term goal is indeed to have these organs ready for transplant into human patients. However, that would require a large animal model such as a pig rather than a rat.” Medical Daily is clear Ganogen fetal kidneys came from aborted fetuses.
LiveScience also reports that Ganogen procured their fetal organs from Stem Express, the for-profit middleman that provides the tissue and organs “donated” by Planned Parenthood to medical researchers. Stem Express was mentioned by Deborah Nucatola in one of the explosive videos by the Center for Medical Progress that have exposed the market in aborted baby parts.
Ganogen used to be very up front about the source of their organs. On their old, now archived, website they tout, “We have found a way to successfully transplant human fetal kidneys, livers, hearts, lungs, and other organs into animal hosts using advanced microsurgery.” They also justify their use of organs from abortion by pointing out that lots of medical research in the past used aborted fetal tissue.

But their new website is Ganogen.org, not Ganogen.com. It stresses they are a non-profit entity, and they have removed any mention of fetal organs. I do not think that it is a coincidence that they removed any mention of fetal organs from their site and suddenly stress their non-profit status. They are clearly trying to avoid the public scrutiny being heaped on Planned Parenthood and Stem Express.
I have seen many articles that argue that using fetal parts for medical research is nothing new. We have been doing it for decades, so what is the big deal?
That is exactly the apathy Ganogen needs to make their vision of an endless supply of organs from abortions a reality. Realize that for every heart they want to transplant, an unborn baby will have to die. Watch Ganogen’s promotional video (at bottom) while you remember that every organ they plan to use for transplants will have to come from another unborn baby.
If we do not loudly and vigorously demand that researchers use material in research that was obtained ethically, and not from the intentional ending of an innocent human life, then there will likely be many life-saving treatments that pro-lifers cannot, in good conscience, use.
There are alternatives to using material from elective abortions. Researchers could use fetal tissue from miscarriage for their research. Or they could find other sources altogether. Remember that Japanese researcher Dr. Yamanaka looked at the embryo and realized we could not continue destroying embryos for pluripotent stem cells. That drove him to develop induced pluripotent stem cells. For that breakthrough he was awarded the Nobel Prize.
It is time to stop giving medical research a pass to do whatever they want. If we do not pressure them to find ethical sources of biological materials the market for aborted fetal parts will grow and life-saving treatments will be morally tainted.
If we stay silent, Ganogen will have their way. There maybe a time where you or a loved one will need an organ transplant, and you maybe be confronted with the knowledge that the organ needed to save your life was taken from an abortion.
Is that the kind of organ transplant system we want? One that is heavily supplied by the intentional taking of innocent human lives?
It is possible that maybe where we will end up if the public ignores the ugly market in aborted fetal parts that is right before our eyes.

By the “media” covering this up with their bull**** “Cecil the lion” story, these baby butchers have been given the all clear to continue murdering and butchering human beings. The Nazis never had it so good. Talk about a violation of human rights. This is the Mother of all Human Rights violations.

The same folks who defend death row convicts from execution would support harvesting organs from abortion industry. Watch them flip when one suggests harvesting organs from death row inmates.
The self-annointed lead agency in US organ transplants, the United Network for Organ Sharing, is yet to make a statement or state a position on the Planned PArenthood developments. Their continued deafening silence on Planned Parenthood revelations could be interpreted that they have some relationship with the PP baby parts procurement network. Why else would they not distance themselves publically?
The liberals don’t care about the jobs the game hunting provides for local Africans, either, feeding their children from the hunter’s spending in a way simply cordoning off the land to people does not.
I find it tragicomic that liberals have internalized original sin, seeing all people as inherently bad and despoiling the sacred wild Eden, at best the caretakers and at worst things to be eliminated to protect the innocent animals.
Propping up abortion while lionizing Cecil the Lion and ignoring the starving blacks is in line with that reasoning.
Next they’ll let the born-alive babies from botched abortions live a few years and then “harvest” their organs. Why bother to transfer organs to animals? Besides, the PETA crowd would go ballistic over the animal cruelty.
Horrible, but they will justify it in their minds.
