Whether you love Trump and think hes the bees knees or think hes the worst scourge the earth has ever seen, you cant deny how he helped a young Jewish child suffering from a rare illness is pretty awesome.
From Jews News:
The private Boeing 727 of real estate tycoon Donald Trump arrived from Los Angeles at LaGuardia Airport Tuesday morning, carrying aboard an Orthodox Jewish child with a rare and still undiagnosed breathing illness.
The child, Andrew Ten, age 3, arrived with his parents accompanied by three nurses who attend to him around the clock to try to seek medical help in the New York area.
Trump made his plane available for the special trip to New York after the boys parents, Judy and Harold Ten, called Trump and told him of their plight.
Commercial airlines refused to fly the child because he could not travel without an elaborate life-support system, which includes a portable oxygen tank, a suction machine, a breathing bag and an adrenaline syringe.
Mr. Trump did not hesitate when we called him up. He said yes, Ill send my plane out, 29-year-old Harold Ten recalled shortly after he landed here Tuesday morning.
Asked why he thought Trump made his private jet available, Ten replied, Because he is a good man. He has three children of his own and he knows what being a parent is all about.
Its encouraging to see Trump use his wealth and resources to help a sick child.
Regardless of where we fall politically, at the end of the day, were all human beings, and we could all do a better job of taking care of one another.
While not all of us have the vast resources that Trump has at his disposal, we still have time and talent we could give to help our fellow man, so why not let this example inspire us to step up and do what we can?
It’s morning in America again.
Among the relatives at the airport to greet the child and his parents were the paternal grandparents of the sick boy.
Donald Trump is a miracle, just a miracle, said grandmother Feigy Ten, who came to the airport with her husband, Phillip Ten.
I notice the Clinton Foundation was not involved.
Hey Hillary, put down the vodka, take your fat cankles off the leather seat across from you, and make it available for a worthy person in need.
What? No time for the little people?
Be fair now. I'm quite certain that no members of that family bought any Clinton influence ahead of time. And that's how the Clintons roll. Cash first, favors later.
I don’t know if it’s quite morning yet, but I can see a few rays of the dawn, which I haven’t for 6 years...
FWIW, this event happened in 1988, if I recall correctly. Just because it’s an older story doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be told again. It is, however, still a telling insight into the man’s sense of compassion.

Or ozero, with A.F.1 at his disposal. He sure doesn’t hesitate to use it for his numerous vacations.
The family couldn’t afford the $250,000 minimum fee.
I’m glad you mentioned that date; I was about to. If it isn’t made clear that the story is from 1988 the loonies will accuse Trump supporters of taking credit for something that happened years ago.
WOW that so cool
You won’t hear this on MSN media

Just shows that he didn’t do it for political purposes.
No Siblius saying go no go, no Obamacare (yet in the story) just a rich guy with the tool box to make it happen, and he isn't afraid to use his tools. FWIW, Corporate Fleets do this kind of stuff on the down low and never brag about it, compared this all to the CRAP the big three got for their Jets and what Commander -0 did to that industry as well, not to mention don't go to Vegas...
We did build that, we will get it done, we will help....
I remember when Johnny Carson’s side kick (Ed ?) last name escapes me right now, was bankrupt and dying. Trump helped him out without any fanfare IIRC.
I have never forgotten that act of compassion.
For that reason alone he is worth consideration.
You're right. It was in 1988. And the story is more important because it's an older story. No one can claim Trump did it to score any political points.
McMann
Btw, this means he did this for the 3 year old Jewish boy when he was Not running for President of the United States. So this was clearly not done for some bump up his poll numbers.
From my perspective based on the above, it makes it even a bigger news story.
I’m disappointed that Trump’s get-tough immigration policy doesn’t send non-criminal illegals home, but my understanding is that he has a long record of quietly doing good things for individuals in need.
That practice is, indeed, Reaganesque.
