That’s what I’ve always wanted to know about this.

This “agreement” or “arrangement” is not an official treaty.

They did some half baked congressional vote at the behest of Obama, so that this is not an official treaty, which would require a 2/3 vote in the Senate to be legally binding.

But since whatever comes about will not be legally binding, the next Republican president can simply rescind this on Jan. 20, 2017, right????

Probably. I'm not sure what impact that would have--the other nations who have signed the agreement will be knee deep in it by then.
