The Jeb Bush Right to Rise super PAC will spend upwards of $15 million on its first major TV advertising blitz since raising $100 million to support the former Florida governors bid for the GOP presidential nomination, Fox News has learned.
Previous reports had underestimated the amount the high-powered PAC, headed by Republican political strategist Mike Murphy, will invest in the large ad buy, according to a source familiar with the specifics of the media campaign.
The television ads will be broadcast to potential voters across the early voting states of New Hampshire, Iowa and South Carolina.

..and if Trump has another day like he did yesterday, it’s be up another 5 million.
...and in a related story, Trump is averaging 4-6 million dollars a day in positive Rush Limbaugh air time......(Jeb won’t get 4-6 dollars of that).
Ha ha. Mike Murphy is the worst of the worst of the closet-Dem GOP operatives.
Is Dana Perino the administrator of this Super PAC?
Murphy is one of the worst, but so is Feehery, Castellanos, Gerson and a bunch more. They’re all cut out of the DC mindset that is clueless about the rest of the country.
So, once the lipstick is on the t*rd, we still won’t kiss it.
But we’ll tell Jeb what he can kiss.
$15,000,000 worth of lipstick on a pig.
Fair enough.
Even the GOPe have got to realize by now that no one wants Jeb....
If he doesn’t get a bump from this, who will be willing to donate money to him?
Maybe he’ll drop out before NH. ;-)
Panic time:
1. Low morale inside the Bush campaign
2. Angry Right To Rise donors
3. Fundraising collapse at Right to Rise
4. Bush campaign fundraising slowdown
5. Right To Rise is mad at Bush Campaign
6. Bush Campaign is mad at Right To Rise
7. Mike Murphy defending running Right To Rise from Hollywood
8. Donors telling Mike Murphy to get his ass to DC last week
9. Right To Rise increases media buy to $15M from $10M because of angry donors
The media loves Jebbie...especially now since his PAC is funneling them money. I bet the PAC could spend billions and few would want this light-in-the-loafers, adopted mexican to be Prez. No more Bushes!
Damage control? Attempting to revive the dead horse?
What a sinful waste of money.
yeah - GOP consultants are a big pet peeve of mine...when I released my book in early 2013 - it was ahead of the curve of people constantly talking about consultants...and my book focused on these guys - from Rove on down the line.
I am happy that they are now front and center in our conversation. It is enlightening.
The finger pointing for the Bush collapse has started:
Bush Campaign blaming Right to Rise.
Right to Rise blaming Bush Campaign.
Grab some popcorn...
Had a wealthy friend (successful businessman) who ran for US Senate as a Pubbie in a blue state. He was appalled by the caliber of “consultants” that the RNC expected candidates to work with—and listen to. Complete hacks apparently with all the GOPe agenda.
