The video is visceral and raw: Hillary Rodham Clinton the presidential candidate so often faulted for insulating herself from voters and critics alike in a tense, awkward, unscripted moment.
A Black Lives Matter activist, Julius Jones, demands, at great length, that Mrs. Clinton acknowledge her culpability for supporting criminal justice policies put in place by her husbands administration that wound up harming black Americans and say how she would change hearts and minds to address what he calls a virulent strain of anti-blackness that reaches all the way back to slavery. Mrs. Clinton, after listening and nodding for several minutes, responds calmly that her lifes work has been helping the nations poorest children, many of them black, before turning the tables on the much younger man and demanding instead to know how he plans to turn his deeply felt emotions into meaningful, lasting change.

It was a forthright statement by Mrs. Clinton, whose advocacy work dates to the 1960s. But her confrontation with a black activist in his 30s showed how, for all her decades of effort on behalf of civil rights, there is a generational divide between those who appreciate that résumé and those to whom she has to prove herself all over again.
The combination of patience and gentle scolding with which she responded seemed a distillation of Mrs. Clintons worldview: that movement politics gets you only so far, and that activists must pave the way for those in office to act.

Most people, defense attorneys, let's call them people for this example, would shirk away from defending a child rapist.
Here she is in this story telling Black Lives Matter people about her work with the very poor, yet it's a story that doesn't reveal the darkness within her when she can come away with clear conscience defending a rapist.
Hillary Clinton Speaks About Defense of Child Rapist Clinton: I fulfilled that obligation BY: Alana Goodman July 7, 2014 5:00 am
Hillary Clinton weighed in on her 1975 legal defense of an accused child rapist on Saturday, her first comments on the case since it came under scrutiny following a Washington Free Beacon report last month.
Clinton spoke in clinical, legal terms while explaining her defense of the rapist, who Clinton helped to avoid a lengthy prison term by relying on a technicality relating to the chain of evidence of his blood-soaked underwear, as well as arguing at the time that the 12-year-old victim may have exaggerated or encouraged the attack.
When you are a lawyer, you often dont have the choice as to who you will represent, and by the very nature of criminal law there will be those who you represent that you dont approve of, said Clinton in an interview published on Friday with Mumsnet, an online forum for parents in the UK.

Her work with the very poor. As in collecting tons of money for Haitian victims of the earthquake and then parsing it out to her beltway consultants while the POOR got almost nothing. She is such a fraud.
Hitlery looks like one of those bobble head dolls that used to be popular.
a tense, awkward, unscripted moment.
NOTHING IS EVER UNSCRIPTED with The World's Smartest Lesbian.
Unless she's dodging sniper fire.
That's some funny stuff right there. The Times sure has some gifted comedy writers.
In reality, Hillary has only advocated for herself, with the goals of power and money.
...activists must pave the way for those in office to act.
With the NYT showing it's commie colors, again.
It was a forthright statement by Mrs. Clinton, whose advocacy work dates to the 1960s. But her confrontation with a black activist in his 30s showed

100% scripted, financed by Soros.
BLM violently disrupts other democrats but have a meaningful dialogue with Hillary? B.S.
Anyone check how many “aggrieved blacks” Hillary has on her campaign?
Gee--Maybe if Black Americans obeyed the law, they wouldn't be "harmed" by BJ Clintoon's, or anyone else's, criminal justice policies.
She loves everything black...especially blackmail.
Nothing in the NYT has any validity.
Why, blacks are some of her best friends. Watch her point and wave to them at her next crowd “audience”.
Since black is a race, is orange one too?
Orange is her new FALL color.
“Her work with the very poor.”
Her work was very poor. /fixed it.
You could almost swear by how Obama acts that Hillary and Frank Marshall Davis produced Obama.
More like annoyed and combative. ...buy hey, it's the NYTimes.
