Gut bacteria may play a very important role in driving hunger.
Our nation’s sudden increase in obesity may be due to the high numbers of babies born by C-Section and use of antibiotics.
Who knows? Maybe gut bacteria does play a role in the development of homosexuality in women.
Here is the Scientific American article about the research done on skinny and fat mice:
“How Gut Bacteria Help Make Us Fat or Thin”

Ok....I am now waiting to read all the snarky remarks about fat people.
By the way, I lost 80 pounds about 10 years ago. So far I have gained about 30 back but I am still within a healthy weight range for my height. That amounts to **less** than one Orio cookie per day, so the weight gain is not due to gluttony. Fighting the **constant** nagging hunger 24/7 over those years has been a walk through hell. I do it for my health and self-respect. I dread social events because I know it will be a very unpleasant struggle of brute control of will over hunger.
If there are food issues in heaven, I am leaving. Hell couldn’t be worse.
I am short for my height...................
When you have that nagging hunger, it usually means you did not eat enough protein at the previous meal.
I made this one change and it got rid of the hunger between meals, while still losing weight.
I added 100 calories of protein, like a slice of cheese or a small yogurt at the meal and it was just enough.
For social events I head over to the fruits and vegetables and fill up there first, then I add some protein. Then after that I might take a sliver of cake.
