Immigration enforcement requires only money, which requires an act of Congress.

But you need border enforcement, interior enforcement and workplace enforcement.

Bush doubled the number of border patrol agents, after Clinton also increased the number. Clinton also gave them a big pay raise because they had an employee retention problem. So under Clinton and Bush border agents tripled.

Bush didn't do much on interior and workplace because congress didn't want to spend the money and a lot of people think congress should have spent more on the fence.

He can talk about what he is going to do about the illegals but King Donald the Great will need congress to appropriate the money

Well, I hope they don’t have high-cap magazines.

That would be REAL bad.

Please send that message and picture to Trump’s campaign.

Seriously, I would do exactly that - after being damned sure of my targets. The FIRST JOB of a government is to protect its people from invasion. This qualifies, and so the response HAS to be something like what you recommend. The beauty of your recommendation is that it sends a rather, uh, CLEAR message that “we’re not kidding anymore!”

I'm a 83 old Korean vet. Shooting a rotten piece of garbage would be nothing for me.

1. Thank you for your service, and for your patriotism. My father would be 82 right now if he was still here, and while he didn't serve in Korea (he did a couple years in the Navy a few years later), he had much the same attitude as you.

2. Now I see who Clint Eastwood got that "Get off my lawn!" line from. :>)

Letters of Marque and Reprisal? Couple them with a repeal of the '34 NFA, and we'll have an interesting little party for Santa Ana's criminal descendants.

If Trump becomes president they won’t control any American soil.

Yeah, that's true. But if Trump becomes the next POTUS he will be able to push Congress around on immigration the same way Reagan did on taxes. When someone has a mandate, and goes back to the employers of those standing in the way of implementing said mandate, things start happening. Oh, and something tells me that Trump will not be too dainty to mix it up in the court of public opinion with the obstructionist jerks in Congress.

Couple of years ago had a Boarder Patrol Agent check out my ILLEGAL ALIEN NO BAG LIMIT, OPEN SEASON HUNTING LICENSE (had it taped up in the window of my truck) when I was down south hunting dove.
My first thought was “oh, sh#t”, until I saw him smile and nod his head, even called his partner over to check it out.
Had 3 shotguns and 2 pistols in the back seat, we sat in the shade of their temporary boarder control point (only shade out there, on Ogilby Road about 40 or 50 miles south of Palo Verde). We had a glass of iced tea and a nice little chat. They told me good luck, bag a bunch, and I was on my way.
Good people, probably “RACIS”.

Under a Letter of Marque, one could legally chase the bastards back across the border and pound them on the other side ... Mexico would be no refuge for them.

Our Arizona border and the fragile desert ecosystem are being trashed by the coyotes and illegal aliens.

https://www.google.com/search?q=pictures+of+garbage+from+illegals+on+arizona+border&client=safari&rls=en&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CCEQsARqFQoTCLeW9Zr6uscCFQSkiAod0AoH7w&biw=1346&bih=773&dpr=2

Nary a peep on this from the Environmentalists such as the Southwest Center For Biodiversity who shut down development and economic activity using even the most tenuous pretext.

Can't build a house in the desert with trees containing bird houses for the fly catcher , but they have no problem with the cartels and illegals coming over the border destroying their habitat on a massive, poisoning their water and eating the wildlife for dinner when they can catch it.

Illegals on top of mountains spying on border patrol are easy target they should be shot as the foreign criminals that they are. This reminds me of the war in Afghanistan, fighting from mountain top to mountain top.

If the president wanted to stop them it would be very easy to get the national guard, take them out and then use those mountain top perches for OUR surveillance of the cartels. Instead we let THEM have the high ground. I have never been a military person but everybody with a brain knows the importance of high ground.

Something is definitely rotten here. Our government is GIVING the cartels American ground to control. This has to be corruption. Some people on BOTH sides of the border are getting their sticky hands on that cartel money.

I have read that Yuma county to the west has kept the illegals under control but Pinal county has lots of problems. I believe that Grijalva is the U.S. Representative for Pinal County. Someone correct me if I am wrong. It think Grijalva is a La Raza dirt bag. I am sure that he is doing everything he can to protect those illegals and drugs coming through that corridor.

The same reason there are pictures, and stories of marines and soldiers guarding poppy fields in Afghanistan.

It’s too much money for the corrupted.

Rep Raúl Grijalva:

University of Arizona - he was a member of Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán (MEChA) which, at that time, was a radical group identified with the separatist “Aztlán ” ideology. Grijalva also served as a leader of the Chicano Liberation Committee and other Chicano groups.

In addition, he was an Arizona leader of the Raza Unida Party.

I think I live in the area Babeu is referring to....Maricopa, population over 40,000. South of town is one of the main routes the drug/people smugglers use to get to Phoenix, so we know they’re out there in the desert surrounding us. Scary times...but bombing is not the answer...for me, at least, lol.

We used to have Grijalva but now we have Ann Kirkpatrick, another Democrat. They totally screwed up our redistricting and it makes no sense to normal people.
