I’m talking special forces sneaking in and taking these guys out who are on the mountain tops and setting up ambushes along the drug corridor and some Apache gunship air cover. Its not at the border its like 70 miles inside the border and we just cannot not have operational control of our own territory. Its just uneffingacceptable.

The reason for Pinal County's problems is that it is the locus of the drug corridor. Interstate 10 is a straight shot to the drug markets in LA. I10 joins I8, the direct route to San Diego, in Casa Grande. I10 is also connects to I17 in Phoenix and on to to I40 - the road Las Vegas. It's probably fair to say that most of the drugs imported into the Western US flow up I10 between Nogales, AZ and Casa Grande in Pinal Co.
The sheriffs in AZ do their best but it's tough when you know the federal government will sue to keep you from doing the job you're sworn to do - and the court will back them.
