The defining moment of Donald Trump‘s Friday night campaign rally in Mobile, Ala. was when the GOP candidate for president called Jeff Sessions onto the stage. The four-term U.S. senator put on one of Trump’s trademark “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” hats.
Sessions may well be the Senate’s most unrepentant racist. He was once nominated for a federal judgeship, but his history of racism — including praising the KKK and calling the Voting Rights Act “intrusive” — tanked his nomination.
Trump isn’t supposed to be a serious candidate, and an endorsement from a U.S. senator is a huge step for him. (It was unclear if this represented an official endorsement, but it was clearly a strong show of support. Sessions was especially enthusiastic about Trump’s immigration “plan.”) But it’s natural that the first one would come from the one of the most virulently racist senators.
After all, Trump’s campaign is nothing but naked racism.

It doesn’t work on me. My response
to being call a racist is, “So what?”
When the left cannot find any weakness in a person they don’t like, they simply cry “racist!”. No real evidence is ever offered. The accusation itself is the conclusion.
And every other Republican has simply accepted this. All the fire is incoming. None is outgoing.
But I suspect that Trump will be different.
So wanting to enforce the law is racist. These people that push this crap are actively trying to destroy the US.
Should I not do that? Seriously.
If you go read the Wikipedia entry for Jeff Sessions, it’s clear that he has been demonized as a racist based on nothing but charges pulled out of thin air. For example, his only comment about the KKK (which he later said was an off-the-cuff joke and apologized for) was that he ‘thought they were okay until he found out they smoked pot.’ That sounds like it was clearly a joke to me, but some black attorneys working under him apparently took great offense.
Also, the Voting Rights Act? Gee, he thinks voters need to have an ID. How utterly racist of him.

Kind of reminds me of what Dana P. Rino said the other night on O’Reilly hosted by Jesse Waters, who I like a whole lot more then O’Reilly.
Among some 55,000 rapidly strung together pointless and meaningless words, she eventually arrived at the statement that Americans are in the midst of having a repulsive fantasy.
I really can’t stand that babbling fool of a woman.

What about the racist Blacks who voted 97% for Obama because he is HALF Black? That is certainly racist, since he hasn’t done squat for them in eight years of being in office.

Have you noticed that all media is trying to get the name “Trump” in their headline? That’s because it will increase their circulation. Bunch of hypocrites try to make a dime off him while bashing him.

You are going to hear this from Republican GOPe weasels, too.
If you support Trump, you are a racist. This is a powerful smear that the Dems and GOPe will join forces on, and do everything in their collective power to make stick.
“See, even George Will/Medved/Krauthammer/Hewitt the vile Right winger agrees that Trump is the new George Wallace!”
That’s the Dem angle.
“If we don’t purge the racists out of the party, we are doomed! Even if it costs us the current front runner, we have a moral obligation to force him out! We’d rather be right than win the White House!” That’s the GOPe angle.
Morons who commit crimes against minorities will be labelled as Trump supporters. Immigrants who’ve worked for Trump will be sought out to denounce him. His words will be twisted, and outright lies will be etched in the public mind as fact. Trump will be said to be just like racist in our past.
All that has already happened. It’s going to get a lot worse.
Being perceived as racist is no small matter, it can end careers and incite violence. Fence sitters and those who might otherwise voice support for Trump in Blue States will be silenced.
I hope Trump has a plan that makes this just the latest fail in the GOPe Acme arsenal of tricks they have used to try and stop Roadrunner Trump, because if it sticks even a little, he’s got big problems.
