Trump isn’t winning because of the political profile he brings to the table, one which has a marked left wing aspect.
He’s winning because people believe that Trump cares about what they care about.
Are those people right about that. I sincerely hope they are. In the longer term, Trump is going to have to play down or abandon a lot of the leftist baggage he has, if he wants to get political support from avowed conservatives. I hope he proves half as good a listener as he is a talker.

True, those Americans in France made me feel proud of us again. Absolutely tired of being beat down and apologized for and guilty about hard won success.
