Palestinians want to raise flag at UN headquarters

The Palestinians are seeking to raise their flags at UN headquarters in New York, in a resolution proposing to allow non-member observer states—the Palestinians and the Vatican—to display their flag with the 193 member states—just in time for Pope Francis’ visit next month.

Supporters of the idea hope the UN General Assembly will adopt a resolution on the flag-raising shortly before the pope arrives. They’re betting that the United States or other allies of Israel will not block the plan and risk offending the Holy See on Francis’ first US visit.

But the Vatican on Tuesday asked the Palestinian UN mission to remove all references to it from the draft resolution.

The Palestinians’ proposal, which has been tabled and is expected to circulate to the full assembly as early as on Wednesday, had apparently been prepared without the explicit consent of the Vatican’s mission to the United Nations. …

Wouldn’t surprise me if it happens. We’ll see.

Maybe they’ll announce a “peace” deal that lasts for say, oh, 7 Biblical years of 360 days each.

Palestine? Oh, you mean the “Free Palestine” non-state that exists at the behest of the UN’s Israel haters?

Or do you mean the Palestine-non-nation PLO organization?

Or...do you mean the Palestine non-nation run by the cutthroat HAMAS movement in Gaza?

Or...do you mean those “poor refugees” currently battling it out (with their Arab brothers) in their host country Lebanon?

Or...do you mean the people permanently supported by a self-serving UN organization called UNWRA, who let terrorists fire rockets at Israel from their schools?

Perhaps you meant that Palestine who do not want peace and build it's President a HUGE, new Palace near Ramallah, paid for by European and American tax dollars.

On the other hand you might mean the Palestine, set up by the PLO and Bill Clinton, (and Shimon Peres) to be a Trojan Horse inside of Israel to begin the great process of destroying the only free and Democratic nation in the middle East.

Ask any Palestinian if they want something called “compromise” with their Jewish neighbors. You will never get an Arab to say, clearly that they are willing to live side-by-side with the Jews in a so-called two-state solution which is nothing mote than the 1947 Partition For Palestine reheated in a microwave.

BTW the Arabs, not “Palestinians” rejected that COMPROMISE in 1947 and they have been rejecting it ever since.

So, thanks Palestinians for reveling in that permanent refugee status - living with your heads up your rear-ends for the last 67 years. Getting Billions in hand outs only to buy weapons and summer camps for kids where they learn how to kill Jews. Time to wake up, smell the dark coffee, mature and move on. It is not going to happen because they have no incentive to move away from what they call the "struggle", e.g., kill all the Jews when possible.

The truth is absurdly painful and yet, nobody wants to speak out.

The lies (spun by the ever so peaceful Arabs) are so thick and convoluted that I doubt anybody has the courage to challenge it anymore EXCEPT Benjamin Netanyahu.

He is hated in the world today, especially by BHO because he speaks the truth and will not go down quietly, especially when Israel is now more threatened that at any time since 1948.
So, while BHO is in the Alfred E. Newman mode right now (”What me worry”?), Netanyahu does his best to protect the Jews against another Holocaust.
