“Could it just be that the majority of “Californias” ARE “unauthorized immigrants?”
The Hispanics in California now outnumber other Caucasian and other ethnicities, and for the first time, the majority of school children in California are Hispanics. Won’t be long before all the elected leaders in California will be Hispanic and the will of the majority will prevail in all things.
Personally, if it weren’t for the Americans living inland and up in the high desert areas and non-coastal areas, I’d say just give it back to the Mexicans and cut our collective losses. It would totally reshape the electoral landscape.
If this is ever on the ballot it loses just like gay marriage - but the courts will mandate it.
Yes, you’re likely right. The only opinions that count in the mind of most courts now are those of illegals and their sympathizers.

Nobody that I know in California is keen on anything but kicking their buts out!

You and I seem to know the same people....

I don’t want to give anything to anyone who isn’t a citizen of the U.S.
It's a mixed bag. Meaning, California delivers more tax revenue to the feds than it receives, benefitting other states on average. California has such a large economy that it is larger than many countries. We pay taxes to the federal government, same as in other states, but we pay a lot more than other states. Some of that trickles back to California but a lot of it goes to poorer states. So, Peter in California is giving money to Paul in other states. Maybe Peter should just keep all the money in California. (But Peter everywhere should kick out freeloader Pauls, especially "illegal criminal aliens".)
Nobody sure asked me.
Gee... I see about 20 a day here in No. OC and they have a village going by the train tracks near Fullerton Airport.
