California voters’ support for extending health care coverage to people in the state illegally is gaining ground, according to the latest Field Poll.
The survey found that 58 percent of registered voters favor providing Medi-Cal to all of the state’s undocumented residents while 39 percent oppose. Last year, only a slight majority – 51 percent – favored the idea, while 45 percent opposed.

Could it just be that the majority of “Californians” ARE “unauthorized immigrants?”
Not really - Medicaid is at least 50% Federal $, and can be as much as 75% Federal $, depending on the number of people in the state that meet the eligibility guidelines (generally expressed as those falling within some multiple of the federal poverty level - usually 133% but as high as 261% if infants are part of the household.)
So, when CA gets generous, it is merely harvesting the tax dollars of residents of other states.
This state will not exist long if they keep on this path. Kalifornia is in the tank and the brown shirts that run the state will steal everything they can then migrate to other states that have a stable economies. They will become the illegal immigrants!!
All this proves is there are more libs and illegals this year than last.

Considering 2 out of 3 people in the State are sucking off the Government tit, why would ANY Polling be Valid??
California has officially been conquered by the Third World invasion. California is finished, because its leaders and a majority of its people support the invasion and the conquest.
Doesn’t some of this largess eventually come from the Fed Gov? That is, you and me in other sane states? Why should I have to subsidize Mexifornia?
A poll of “registered voters,” in a state virtually colonized by the last several decades of invading illegal aliens, reflects merely the level of illegal voter registration - and not the the views of American citizens living in California.
58% of Californians don’t have to pay taxes? No wonder the state is a financial basket case.

I will say that in 60 years of livin in the SF “B”at Area, I have seen precisely one Hispanic bum. He was pushing 2 shopping carts of cans and bottle. I’ve also seen only one Asian panhandler. He was very aggressive, and started sporting bruises on the side of his face.
I saw these two a total of 3 times.
I have seen hundreds of bums, some literally sitting in their own waste less than a block from city hall.
Gee. 20 years ago we had a poll where this was explicitly outlawed.
Prop 187 was overturned by one federal judge.
She said a state cant make an immigration law.
Now it can, because this time they get the money?
Also, a lot of registered California voters are merely the ones who have not yet sold and moved out of state.
