The St. Mary's Academy board voted Wednesday night to change the school's policy on hiring gay employees after facing backlash over the administration's decision to rescind a job offer to a gay counselor.
Students and high-profile donor Tim Boyle, CEO of Columbia Sportswear, had earlier condemned the choice not to employ 27-year-old Lauren Brown.
In response, administrators brought the board together and recommended members vote to expand the hiring policy. . . .
In July, the Roman Catholic high school reversed its plans to make Brown an academic adviser after learning she was gay, the job applicant said. Friedhoff said the decision was made when Brown indicated she intends to get married.

Sounds like it’s time to disband the school.
This apparently means that they will also accept ALL of what it means to be “gay,” including recognizing what is antithetical to Church doctrine - counterfeit “marriage.”

Conservatives have been fighting for decades to help companies like Tim Boyle's keep taxes and regulations low. We fought successfully against minimum wage laws. We fought successfully to keep property taxes low. We fought to allow tax exemptions, etc.
What do guys like Tim Boyle turnaround and do?
They dis us and our culture and basically tell us to go to hell.
Would Tim Boyle have been as successful in Western Europe where the Christians there threw in the towel decades ago?

This is a Roman Catholic school. The article says that the “school administrators” made the decision. But doesn’t the diosces have veto authority over something like this? Especially since (iirc) Roman Catholic position on this has been that recognition of gay marriage through employment of married homosexuals is Church endorsement of gay marriage?
I wonder if the school doing this is just them punting the issue up the foodchain.

Well my grandchildren’s orientation being straight will be incompatible with pedophilia. I can arrange for the guy to change his orientation with a shotgun.

By ruining their businesses and boy could I write a playbook on that having owned several companies in the past myself.
