“I just don’t think that they should be prosecuting cases … for people who steal from Everett Mitchell. I just don’t think that, right?”

Someone should post this quote and Everett Mitchell’s address and see if he changes his mind.

I suppose Everett has homeowner’s insurance, too, which should make his home a non-prosecutable robbery target, right?

We should all go to the campus store and take some cool free stuff. It is okay cause it is a big university that charges tons of tuition.

Every dime of public funding for universities should be eliminated. I don’t care if it causes a higher education depression. I don’t care how many colleges go under. At this point, universities need to go through a culling where the useless programs and professors, like this dope, get eliminated and only programs that students are willing to pay for are left. Plus, taxpayer-funded tuition will drop back down to sane levels if public money is eliminated.

According to University of Wisconsin-Madison salary info, this ‘learned individual’ earns around $89,000/yr. Not too shabby. I’m sure he carries insurance for various possessions he owns. Lets go ‘lift’ some of his stuff as he is apparently cool with it.....ya know, cuz he has insurance.

Every time I turn around there is another Black, like this Everett, making the case that there is truly something wrong with Black brains. Other examples are Shiela Jackson Lee, Rep Johnson, and many, many more.

In many cases they don’t. Most shoplifting cases now go civil recovery.

And, property rights; the ability to own and control your own “stuff” is fundamental to human freedom, but is at odds with socialism. So, why prosecute people for taking things that belong to big corporations, it’s just stuff, right? And, they’re just big business, so to this idiot’s way of “thinking”, it doesn’t make any sense to prosecute shoplifters.

Police don’t prosecute.

They arrest for committing what has been legislated as a crime.

So then offer everything for free, starting with the college bookstore, cafeteria, and gift shop. No price, no shoplifting.

Well Mr./Ms. college administrator, that’s just fine. And when they come to your house to take what they want, don’t bother calling 911, you’ve got insurance like those big box stores.

Everett Mitchell lives in Oregon, WI. Far removed from the craziness of Madison.

Even if he would let people rob his home, they’d be unable to take public transportation there to do so.

For shame.

“I don’t think [with] Target or all them other places, them big box stores that have insurance, they should be using justification, the fact that people steal from there as justification to start engaging in aggressive police practices, right?”

You can see why he isn’t an English professor.
