Sent note below to Sen. Coons & Mikulski...not that it will do any good but I have to try. Sick of Congress putting Party, themselves above our country!
“If you agree to the Iranian ‘deal’, how will you live with yourself in the event our great country suffers a direct or indirect attack by Iran where thousands are killed or maimed?
The ‘leaders’ of Iran are clear about their hate for America and Israel. They’ve clearly stated their intentions to destroy Israel. And, since they view America as the great Satan, what do you believe they intend for us?
The Democrat position that it’s either this ‘deal’ or war is fallacious and, Sen. Coons, I’m sure you know this. Sanctions have worked in the past, so why, suddenly, a ‘deal’ is our only option?
Isn’t it time for Senators and Representatives to do what is in the country’s best interests vs voting with ‘the Party’? What happened to patriotism?
Sen. Coons, I pray you will come to the conclusion that YOU are an American BEFORE you are a Democrat! Vote against the ‘deal’ with Iran.”
Even partisan Democrats should be disturbed by two things:
The fact that we’re obligated to protect Iran’s nukes against an Israeli attack, and
The fact that the Iranian regime is already making deals for weapons in violation of the agreement.
If those two pints don’t bother them, then they truly are anti-Semitic and unpatriotic (and pro-war.)
How long before Ditch just cancels the vote?

A number of Senators tried to amend the Corker bill, including an amendment that would have changed it to a treaty. It failed.

It’s impossible to understand how ANY of our elected Officials could agree to this ‘deal’.
Iran self-inspections???? What happened to us?? Sad and scary.
How about this. It will be also the members of congress children or grandchildren who will have to do the protecting Iran’s Nukes against any attacks. Wonder if they though of that?
