Friendship over freedom — a concept all but lost today.
So glad they found him. In Spfld, MO there is one grave for 16 unknown Pennsylvania Civil War soldiers. I no longer live there but I remember them every Memorial Day and when I read about someone finally getting home to rest.
Thank you for posting this touching story. May God bless keep brave fighting men such as the heroes mentioned here — both living and dead.
