Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
(Rom 13:1-3)

True. However, when man’s laws conflicts with God’s then God’s laws must be obeyed. Acts 5:29— “We ought to obey God rather than men”.

Throw babies into the shredder? CHECK! Approve abominations against God? CHECK!
Go and learn what Acts 5:29 means.

Yes, and God established the United State of America.
Read the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence.
All I am saying is God did establish us, and in regard to our powers against tyranny he established that also. You are not wrong in bringing up Romans 13

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. And if the rulers are evil, then what?

Well! Just damn! Jesus didn’t really have to hang on that cross did he? Who knew? And Daniel, in that lion’s den, pshaw! Shadrach, Meshack and Abednigo should have just bent those knees a bit to Baal and, presto, no furnace for them!
For those obtuse enough not to comprehend,(and I’ve learned that there are many) the above is extreme sarcasm.
