The fall of the al-Jazal oil field in the Homs province came after intense fighting with government troops, Xinhua quoted the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights as saying.

The government had already lost the oil and gas fields in Deir al-Zour. Kurdish militants in northern Syria also control the country's largest Rmailan oil field.

Clashes are still raging near the field, the Observatory said.

The oil industry had been a pillar of the Syrian economy until the crisis broke out more than three years ago, with a daily output of about 380,000 barrels.

Do not believe oil from Syria is exported on the world market. Iss will control whatever happens in Syria only. Russia will come on Assad’s side. keep in mind Russia has always wanted a position in the Middle East since Czar Peter the Great. Whom strived to do so much in his lifetime only to have it fall back to the Sultan of Turkey. The Great Bear from the North will come into the Promised Land and he Final Battle will be fought on the Plains of Megiddo. Where will America be on the side of Israel against the Muslim horde backed by Russia.

To knock off ISIS to keep them out of Russia.

To get control of Syria oil, and run up the price.

To just increase his ‘empire’ in general.

I’m wondering why Putin is helping Syria, ....................... to tweak Obama’s nose, and make him look like a clown. Then again that isn’t hard to do. Putin is increasing his influence in what was the USA and Europe’s domain. He’s offering solid help, with no pussy footin BS as our current administration seems to favor. The Democrats are total wusses when it comes to foreign policy, it will be a great day when we can get most of the Hippies the hell out of our government and actually have someone who will accept responsibility for their actions, and not look for excuses for every foul up. Remember, Putin is not alone, China is in there too. Between those two world powers, the MB and ISIS can expect some real hurting responses. Its going to interesting to watch, forget Hillary, she’d be a chicken without a head. End result, Assad gets what he wants, and the Kurds get some neat weapons to fight ISIS. Until then, we here, can watch the fights of the flags, like the stars and bars vs. the Rainbows. You know, the real important stuff, not the foreign relations and national security problems.

Bingo! To eventually take control of the Middle East, as he's attempting to do in eastern Europe. Russia and the ChiComs, with Obama's help ('flexibility') on missile defense and nukes, are seeking to establish a 'new international order'. They're out to grab other countries' oil and other resources.
